Our Polish Games Festival is going strong with great deals on titles coming from Polish developers, but that’s not all we have in store for you (pun intended).
We teamed up with Razer to give you a contest with amazing prizes!

The rules are simple: comment on the forum or under our Twitter contest post and tell us what things are HARDER to do in games than in real life from your perspective. We'll reward 3 forum and 3 Twitter entries that we find most creative.

What are the prizes? You can win one of six prize packs of Razer peripherals (BlackWidow keyboard, DeathAdder mouse and Kraken headphones), and a bundle of 20 games available on GOG.COM, such as Control Ultimate Edition, Disco Elysium - The Final Cut, Spiritfarer, SUPERHOT: Mind Control Delete and more!

Submit your entries before May 11th, 3pm UTC. Terms and conditions apply. You can check them in the first comment on the forum.

Don’t forget that, during Polish Games Festival (from May 3rd to May 10th, till 1 PM UTC), if you buy any game at GOG.COM and sign up to GOG’s newsletter, you will receive a special 15% off on peripherals in the Razer Store*.

* The 15% discount codes for Razer Peripherals will be valid from May 10th till June 10th, 2021. The discount does not apply to digital goods (Razer Gold Pins, Razer Gift Card), Razer Customs, Gears & Apparel, Razer Systems. Codes are eligible for selected countries and territories: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. The discount codes will be sent via email connected to your GOG account, within a few days after the event ends. One account is eligible for one discount code.
Find a toilet!
Prove the earth is not flat :)
Accept outcomes. Harder in game when you can see by how much you are missing out. (a "skill", a 'percent success'), but have no clue in life...
Stand on one leg.
See your legs after awakening
Its harder to get all of your crafting materials from an animal hunt. In a game like Monster Hunter or other like game, your drops are RNG dependent and require lots of grinding. In real life, you get all of the resources from a kill.
Pour the right amount of milk in your coffee - the Unreal engine really just hasn't gotten it right yet.
Hello,

For me it's harder to type on a keyboard in a video-game than in real life. Some times I need to click on the letters, another time I have to use the arrows to go over the letters. I can't believe in many games it remains a tricky situation.

Also it's harder to get tipsy, one beer usually gets me, but I have to pay many drinks in game to have it.
Puzzles. Sorry if this is uncreative and obvious but some game actually create some fantastic puzzles that are more difficult then real life ones.

I remember having a real time playing Excelsior and what issues some of the puzzles in that game would give me.
Peripheral vision in first person games.
Grow/level up. I don't have to travel to the ends of the Earth in search of a mystical rock/crystal/dead animal's body part to make better stuff. The grind is real! Lol!
If playing any Batman game, then finding parents.
and If playing Cyberpunk then not finding glitches.
Video games are a strange little alternate reality. Sure, they give you unending sense of heroism and desilusions of grandeur... you may even say that they allow you to be anything you want while in real life your are just working paycheck to paycheck.

But it's the little things that get you. I mean, being able to throw a mean party is nice and all or even going to the best club in the city, video game heros can do that, but have you ever tried to have a heartfelt conversation with a friend? Tell them about your troubles and in return receive some kind words to ease your pain?
Getting a drink of water. You might have some water on you, but after you drink it you apparently throw the container away / you aren't ever given the option to fill it up. I'm looking at you, (unmodded) Fallout games and The Witcher 3.
Cheat on card games. In irl you can just look at the next card when your opponent is not looking or look at the opponents card. Not so easy on video games though.
