So far the live action actors look like they are obviously in a GreenScreen.

I mean say what you will about Greenscreen effects at least those movies that heavily utilizes them tries their best to not make it look obvious and the character too superimposed.

But this man I am hoping this is just a problem with the teaser trailer and it will be fixed in the official release.

I am specifically talking about the scene in 00:04

Interesting. I've no doubt they'll clean up the effects, this is Blizzard after all. Whether they can get a decent plot and get a decent set of actors in there is a different question.

I've no reason to suggest it given Blizzard's rep, but I just sense cash-in here.

Not an unreasonable stance. I mean this could be Final Fantasy The Spirits Within all over again (Even though I think that movie is unfairly looked down upon)
Just a teaser. Real trailer coming out on friday :P

I quite enjoyed that movie. In saying that I wasn't looking for a movie full of uni-sex teenagers with queer hair cuts and stupid gun swords.
I can't tell you how I excited I am for this movie to come out...

in 2005.

Just stick with the first 6 games....or the Ivalice games at least.

That movie was announced in knee jerk reaction to the MASSIVE Popularity WOW had back then.

Now I think they have the time and planning to make a good movie. Or at least it would be as good as Mortal Kombat 1 the movie.

Im more interested in the Assassins Creed movie thats in the works. Will they put more of an effort in their movie (arguably has a better plot and lore behind it...bloody better be how many games and novels are there from the franchise lol).

It's gonna suck.
I'm really tired of the "teaser for a trailer" thing. As for what we've seen, both in this teaser and in the photos that were leaked (or "leaked") recently the CGI looks pretty bad so far, but there is still time, it'll probably improve. Or not. The Hobbit seemed quite proud of it's shitty CGI.

Really, my biggest hope for this movie is that Blizzard will re-release the first two Warcraft games to coincide with it's premiere.

I highly doubt there is more Asscreed lore than Warcraft lore.

Anyway, the teaser looks awful, haven't seen CGI this bad since Star Wars: Episode 1. And I doubt it's only a problem with the teaser.

Or the first three. :P You know, on more platforms than the Battle Net I mean.

WoW Legion is coming out together with the movie. Not the old games. Makes no business sense.

Yes, because surely re-releasing the old RTS games would hurt the sales of Legion.

Also, fuck WoW and it's endless add-ons. Just let the fucking thing die and the franchise move on already.
