You've got mail!

Browsing catalogs, tracking sales, ain't nobody got time for that.
Well, you finally don't need to - we'll email you when a game on your wishlist goes on sale.

Starting this weekend, when a GOG.com game (or games) on your wishlist gets a discount, you'll receive an automatic email notification with a quick way to jump straight to the product page. Nice and convenient.
If you don't want to receive these notifications, you can always unsubscribe directly through the first email you receive, or by heading to Account > Orders & Settings > and changing your Subscriptions settings.

We're still in the early days of rolling out the feature, so we'll continue iterating and nailing down the details and functionality - but with nearly 13,000 votes for the option on our Community Wishlist, we sure hope it comes in handy!

Maighstir: Also, it's been fairly simple to get a free e-mail address since at least the mid-90's. If you use e-mail for personal matters and would like to separate business and personal stuff, you could look up free e-mail services such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo mail, or any of a few dozen others.
Maybe for you. All the major mail sites now require you to have a smartphone to prove your identity before creating new accounts.

(Luckily, I'm grandfathered into the now-defunct free tier of Google Apps for Domains on one of my domains.)

Great feature, GOG! Well done.
low rated
unwanted spam like this is why people stopped reading emails. unsubscribed.
Will the wishlisting feature also show a prompt on the Account button?
At last! Now, I waiting patiently with my Resident the second coming of the Evil.
This is fantastic! Or rather I hope that it will be the one that stands up and stays on top. Steam's version is a lot more inferior. It only randomly notifies you, probably whenever a developer hits a send function or something. Currently, like everyone else, I'm using the features over at "isthereanydeal.com". But nothing beats straight from the source! It'd be cool if GOG genuinely will notify you each and every-time regardless!
Nice, but.. just don't send me 1 email for each wishlist entry O_o'
Thanks, GOG! Absolutely useful and great feature to have! It is certainly a win-win for all parties.
Yeeeesssss!!! Lost too many discounts only because i couldn't log in every week....Thanx GOG, keep up the good work!!!
Nice to finally have some kind of notification but does it HAVE to be an email? Personally I'd prefer a notification in the 'wishlist' section of my account tab - like we get on the library section when a game is updated
I come on hear FAR more often than checking my personal email - I realise I might be a little atypical in that though! :-)

Nope. I just created a Gmail account and didn't have to give a single digit of my phone number (and no, I didn't even have to fill the telephone number field).
