You've got mail!

Browsing catalogs, tracking sales, ain't nobody got time for that.
Well, you finally don't need to - we'll email you when a game on your wishlist goes on sale.

Starting this weekend, when a GOG.com game (or games) on your wishlist gets a discount, you'll receive an automatic email notification with a quick way to jump straight to the product page. Nice and convenient.
If you don't want to receive these notifications, you can always unsubscribe directly through the first email you receive, or by heading to Account > Orders & Settings > and changing your Subscriptions settings.

We're still in the early days of rolling out the feature, so we'll continue iterating and nailing down the details and functionality - but with nearly 13,000 votes for the option on our Community Wishlist, we sure hope it comes in handy!

Luned: So have Support change the email associated with your account.

tinyE: I can't. It's the only email I have access to. :P
Then change the notification settings, like they gave you instructions on in the post. :P
Yes, finally! Thank you GOG.
I don't even check my main e-mail daily. Wouldn't it be better to receive a message in gog account directly because i use another email for youtube which i am currently signed in and use my gog account with my main e-mail.
Thanks for the feature, it'll help!

Oh yeah! DUH!!! Thanks. :D
I gave up wishlisting in 2015...it was too depressing coz GOG had so many great classic releases this year :-P
Given the number of games on my wishlist I think I need to brace myself for some GOG spamming, especially during sales!

Seriously though, thanks GOG. This will be really helpful.
Thanks GOG!
Well, if people wanted this, then good on GOG for implementing it. I however immediately turned it off. I don't need more spam, and I'm here more then enough to notice any sales and promos.
Yeah, I've turned it off too. I'm here pretty much every day checking out what's happening, so I know when my wishlisted items are on sale.

Of course, this is great for those that don't visit GOG obsessively. So, good job GOG!

Also, it's been fairly simple to get a free e-mail address since at least the mid-90's. If you use e-mail for personal matters and would like to separate business and personal stuff, you could look up free e-mail services such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo mail, or any of a few dozen others.
Great! Maybe (just maybe) in the distant future I'll get an email saying ''here, Arx Fatalis is FINALLY on sale!" :P
Amazing ... after only about 5 years of proposing that feature.
Hmm. I think I'll stick with letting IsThereAnyDeal.com monitor my GOG Wishlist.

I don't see any "Only e-mail me if it's discounted by at least 50% and costs no more than $5" option in GOG's built-in version and I run into quite a few cases of things being discounted by 10% or 33% or 40% or costing enough that it'll take a 75% or 80% or 90% discount to get them within my price range.

(It's bad enough that I had to manually reset that to "50% off and $3 or less" for Rogue Squadron 3D to ensure a price increase didn't result in the e-mail alert triggering at a higher price than when I initially waitlisted it.)

This should prove very useful for the folks that don't check out gog.com regularly. Wishlist should have worked like this from day 1, but better late than never. Nice GOG! :)

I hope that forum security will be next on your agenda!
