Sachys: ...and now for something completely different...

anybody else having no luck getting the steam client to go online?! O__o

kojocel: Same here.
and yet I can sign in on the browser - so it aint the usual problems with steamcommunity.com or anything.
ah well, maybe its a new layer of regional pricing and DRM:

"you live in europe? - you can buy from us, but never download! muahahahahah!"

I had issues for a couple days... but worked now.

Also, Steam keep insisting that I have Empire: Total War... but I'm sure I don't....

I am fine for the moment. I had fierce trouble getting on a couple of days ago though.
Bone, Van? Sending your thugs after me in a desperate attempt? You guys are just a bit too much. Like an internet group of wannabe-Yakuza, i guess you could put it.

Maybe - but I dunno if that would affect me being able to launch the client into online mode or not.

1) You take a publicly posted Desura game key for Particulars.
2) You don't have the courtesy to say "thanks" or even "taken".
3) Then I run a giveaway and you take part in it, asking for Particulars on Desura (which you already had).
4) You say to me "I see no reason to join in for a game that I have already got in my library ... there's no point in doing so, other than if you want to trade it for your own benefits. If I owned a game already, I'd like to give the other people a try at trying out the game."
5) BAM! Double-face Hypocrite.

If there's one thing you Brits are good at that is Beer and Music!
