The video by Total Biscuit appeals only to the average braindead "PCgamerzFTW" adolescent. He goes as far as using the X-COM sale figures on Steam to show that "PC gamers like quality games no matter how old the games are" when in truth, anything that goes on sale on Steam sells like crazy and everyone's hyped up because of the X-COM news of the past days. Then he goes on saying that it will be an advantage of the PC to have games on Steam and accessible in like, 5 or 10 years time while "in consoles games will just die and create no revenue for the company", conveniently forgetting about PSN and Xbox Live, services that can pretty much do the same thing.

Overall, a pretty poor video and argument.

As for me, I'm playing it lately on PS3. I like it a lot, but I don't think I'd like it on PC. The "Souls" series is a legend simply because the vast majority of gamers don't even know about its existence. I don't want to think what'll happen once the series goes mainstream.

StingingVelvet: Give me an example. Certainly sounds like a gamepad situation though. I do use a pad for a lot of stuff, just never anything with aiming.
I will say this: For me, WASD + vehicles = rageface.

They even made me struggle with the horse in Two Worlds 2.

I control the vehicle in Borderlands pretty well with the arrow keys. :\

This game is simply too awesome for console users to keep to themselves, not to mention that RPGs (Generally) play better on a PC anyway. I hope this get's the attention of the higher-ups over at Namco and they decide to bring it our way. Hell, it my even end up on GOG :)

Namco Bandai games end up on GOG?

If I remember correctly, GOG was going to start seeing a steady stream or newer releases, no? One has to imagine that when that happens, and if Dark Souls gets a PC version, it would possibly (Keyword there) end up here.

Namco Bandai published the Witcher 1, and there's been lawsuits in France about some shenanigans relating to the Witcher 2.

after the recent lawsuit (Witcher 2), is it still possible for GOG / CDP to reach agreement with Namco Bandai for upcoming release?

I don't have that problem at all, but I know some do.

Hmm, hopefully not. Preferably, I'd like to get Dark Souls on GOG before anywhere else if the PC release happens. To be honest, I didn't even think of that. Here's to hoping they make amends before then.
Am I the only person who didn't find Demon's Souls that hard?

The game in intensely hard, well unless you picm maybe the fighter types and go all armored up. I did a magician/rogue mix and needless to say I had to rely more on weapons at the start just to scrape by(for one, you don't get much magic at the start....and also your armor choices are limited as well at the beginning if you don't choose a fighter.).

You're better off with no armour at all in Demon's Souls. You can move faster, roll, and don't lose stamina as quickly. Freedom of movement is more important than the ability to take a hit. The only thing that should be getting hit is your shield, and that should only be hit strategically, i.e. if you intend to parry, or absorb then strike. Once you learn an enemy's attack pattern, that enemy is no longer a threat...
