Yeap, sucks to not even have an ETA. Gog is really going down in my estime. First bowing down to the commies on twitter, now that. I've a ton of games on GoG but I doubt I'll buy anymore anytime soon.
Relax it will come eventually, just play something else in the meanwhile.

As the companions say, the problem here is the lack of communication, not if it comes sooner or later. On the no mans sky web the logo of gog is not showed, it is normal that we are worried ...

The GOG logo is there. If you click on the BUY NOW link, it shows up.
2 hours past Steam......

Asvertus: It´s now on Steam

BKGaming: Yep, I say give it another hour or so and we should see something if the update is going to release here (and I believe it will).
So 2 hours later, no update, no communication. Are we getting the update?

thanks for rhe info :)

reclusive7: That's not the issue, you opened up your reply/response w/ "Your line of thinking is outdated", you consider that a neutral way of creating mutual respect in a dialog?

Pushing an update has little to do with what I'm talking about, the lack of parity between Steam and GOG versions causes more development time, and since GOG/Galaxy isn't competitive w/ Steam, and Steam is the dominating service on PC, Steam will get preference and priority every time.

anothername: but... you're the village idiot?! :p

Funkyness aside. BK can be blunt at times but he tries to give information about gogs stuff he has as neutral and BS less as possible and that quickly just for the sake of being able too and without being on gogs payroll. I have a hard time to imagine him having any interest in a personal attack; his time to scratch info about gog stuff together just does not allow that. ;)
I second this, BK's a solid person that doesn't take the Internet personally, we need more folks like that online as too many are obsessed with proving themselves right rather than deliver information! Fact is, knowing that all info changes over time no one is right for long, so that makes the obsessive pursuit of it a moot point!

I look on it like Steam is our Beta testers, and by the time we get it we get a better version (sometimes this is true when a patch is made very shortly after release from the Steam feedback).

We wait a little longer, but get a better game (minus the VOIP thing or whatever it was Galaxy does not do).

No idea. I said an hour or so... could be 2 hours, could be 3. I don't know, might not be today at all. HG updated the internal dev build on Steam multiple times before pushing it out, and it took probably 2 or 3 hours before it was released to public.

Keep in mind it may be out of GOG's control: they can only publish what they receive.

What shouldn't be out of their control is telling us what is going on. There's nothing, at this point we could end up not even getting NEXT.

But GOG has to at least know if they're getting the update at all right? Or are they that blind to the dev updates on Galaxy?
