I have my opinion that GOG is behind Steam, and Galaxy is BEHIND in terms of functionality/features that Steam has, I'd like nothing more than GOG/Galaxy to be more competitive with Steam, but they aren't right now. BK takes issue with this by insulting me instead of having a neutral conversation about my opinion vs BK's.
Raghhh... hurry up GOG.!
I really do hope we get it today.
GoG update is always the last, in every game. always.

Niblix: One of the reasons I don't buy games on GoG anymore.
Same here. I will go forward and buy this game on Steam, since more people use it and the patches arrive much faster.
Very bitter cause I liked the idea behind GoG... But at the end it's just a empty shell.

If pointing out that what you are saying is factually inaccurate is "insulting" you then I give up.

That's not the issue, you opened up your reply/response w/ "Your line of thinking is outdated", you consider that a neutral way of creating mutual respect in a dialog?

Pushing an update has little to do with what I'm talking about, the lack of parity between Steam and GOG versions causes more development time, and since GOG/Galaxy isn't competitive w/ Steam, and Steam is the dominating service on PC, Steam will get preference and priority every time.

Yes because it is outdated and people tend to have this habbit of continuing this narritive that it's so much harder to update on GOG or that GOG isn't advanced like Steam. It's an outdated line of thinking that hasn't been true for a long time now.

Gog gets it last 100 people complain, steam gets it last 10,000,000 people complain. Who would you make go last?

GOG has missed exactly one feature. The blue orbs, which was based around VOIP (which Galaxy does not support) and was probably left out due to that reason alone. Every other update & feature has landed on GOG within a short time after Steam. That missing feature was noted in the changelog when Atlas Rises released. The next changelog doesn't say anything about GOG missing features or the update. Not that you are wrong, just pointing that out and of course Steam get's priority.

NMS was a very popular game on GOG, compared to most other games released here.

but... you're the village idiot?! :p

Funkyness aside. BK can be blunt at times but he tries to give information about gogs stuff he has as neutral and BS less as possible and that quickly just for the sake of being able too and without being on gogs payroll. I have a hard time to imagine him having any interest in a personal attack; his time to scratch info about gog stuff together just does not allow that. ;)
I don't care so much that we may get the update a little later, I just wish they would be open and tell us when to expect it rather than silence.

It's always frustrating to feel ignored.
I wont buy another game from GOG again...they suck with alwys being last

This.

The problem is not knowing if we will get the update or not.

That's it. The update coming a couple of hours late is not an issue. At all. Point is, GoG should really start communicating more with its users, else they will buy games elsewhere. GoG should remember they are running a business here, and this is not really the way to do so.
