There's always online DRM <- on of the worst
There's usage of external clients DRM (such as the god awful gfwl client ON TOP of steam)
There's limited machine activation DRM <- absolute terrible
All in all, drm is a set of limitations set to hurt the legit buyer and "supposedly" set to "battle" piracy, in witch they fail miserably - every time.
