Southpawe: I think it said the free games are only good till April 20th ish.

Edit: Actually it could just be talking about the codes them selves I guess. ???
It's the codes. They have to be redeemed by 28th Apr or they become invalid. That's a standard GOG policy, probably designed to eliminate the unpleasant grey market scams associated with Steam codes. The same applies on the rare occasions when GOG codes are attached to bundles or pay-what-you-want offers on other sites.

Engerek01: I have a complaint.

I love Insomnia sales. It is awesome for my already messed up sleeping pattern. However I cant see the game page directly from the sale window. I have to open a new window and search the game there. Every time.
avatar
Southpawe: Solution: create a steam account and run it in the background. Switch to steam to look up info on games.
For some games, that can be dangerous. The Steam page won't tell you if multiplayer features or daily challenges aren't supported on GOG, or if the devs were a-holes who have stopped patching the game here. (I have no idea if any of the sale games fall into these categories.) If you plan to buy the game on GOG, it's probably better to check the game info here too. Even ancient browsers that don't support tabs allow you to have two windows open at once.

zlep: Everyone's been complaining about that this time around, yet I don't recall it drawing much comment before. Has it actually changed, or are people just more aware of it this time?
avatar
Engerek01: It changed. In previous sales I am positive that we could right click and open game in new window. That was like in almost every sale so far.
Ah, that explains it.

If I remember correctly from the first.. game? episode? chapter? something? it is quite an odd and spacey game.. but not the right kind of spacey, more like the sucking vacuum pewpew kind.

The fuck? I just bought necroDancer and it still says I need 9 more for a free game instead of 8.

Did you buy it through the front page, or via the game's own page? (I've been wondering if that might make a difference, given the "only insomnia games count" restriction.)

It doesn't matter as I just got charged FULL PRICE for the game, apparently the discount price at checkout was a lie and that I was too late or some shit.

Now to work out how the hell you request a refund...

Fuck this sale.

Must remain strong... to potentially save a few bucks.

Or not, I haven't seen anything I've wanted to buy yet. Been keeping an eye at it for several hours.

Holy crap! I just got back from work and all I can see are games quickly disappearing - Bird Story and Ultimate General Gettysburg just now. Can anyone please direct me to the list of games that were on sale - I don't know why but I like to stare at that list :)
How the hell do you actually request a refund on this site? Anyone? Please?

6. I want a refund! How do I initiate the refund procedure?
You simply need to contact our Support Team, by using the “Technical Issues with Games” form, and describing the problem as accurately as possible. We will get back to you with what we think might help fix your problem. If we can't get it working together, you will get your money back.

This?
Falling asleep due to all the same games coming up since this morning here...

This?
That wants technical details and a dxdiag report, when i'm not actually requesting a refund due to a game malfunction, I was overcharged.

That just takes me to the same list of options, with nothing dedicated to refunds, it doesn't even add the order number to the results... not that I could anyway as the order select droplist hasn't shown 80% of my purchases for years.
