justanoldgamer: Insomnia sale is a lot easier when you're broke and already have tons of games (those 2 facts are related).

I got Recettear so far, it looks like fun but some of the reviews made me wary of getting it at full price.
You are so right about that. It's very relaxing that way. ;)

This month I bought an android 10' tablet, and installed PPSSPP Gold, FPs1 pro, and static on it. Plus additional hardware for the tablet. So I am I am pretty broke. But now I am able to play PS1, PSP and Nintendo DS games, while I am away from home. It was worth every cent.

We might be getting repeats, but like Joker Rabbit said, the newspost refers to multiple brand new games.
Not going to give up on Insomnia quite yet. Will give it at least a full 24 hours, see what happens, and stay ready.
Did we get Jack Keane yet?
Prison Architect?

Not a bad game, if I didn't get it for $2 (DRM-Free) from Humble as an Early Access title I'd be picking it up.

gamesfreak64: FireFox
is my default one .

it still lags, and i always use tabs
runestone keeper

is up: i had it already when it arrived.
Agreed, I used to use FF exclusively, but now I mainly use Vivaldi/Opera/torch and sometimes chrome, none of which lags as horribly as FF!
I think it's due to the quality control issues with their plug-ins...
Earlier i saw the insomnia sale was going on... and immediately went to bed.
Started off this morning already tired with not enough sleep before work. Planned to sleep on the train then discovered the promo was on. Damn I'm going to be tired these next few days.

Save the best for last XD
Now Neptunia?

That was an instabuy when it came out.

If the sale included 2 & 3 I might be camping out for more than a few minutes.

C'mon Idea Factory!

More Iffy for me!

Congrats to anyone who picked up Prison Architect, I think that was the first time it's gone 50% off here. Steam has had some ridiculously deep cuts by comparison :x
I missed Massive Chalice because GOG's severs suck ass. Has it appeared again now that games have started to repeat?

Recettear is actually quite fun. If you've played The Secret of Mana or Chrono Trigger before, that's what the game's like, with the added bonus of haggling with old ladies over the value of their cherries or melons.

Hmm, I think that came out wrong...

What's more, you can even trick your shop out to an 'evil' or 'good' vibe to draw in specific clientele. There's also another axis to that, I believe it's 'Cheesy' and 'Serious', so you can have a seriously evil store, or a cheesy neutral store, and so on. That may also affect how much you can overcharge people, but I'm unsure, as most times I was chaining those deals to get max XP. Which is why I despise those old ladies!

There's also an RPG aspect to it, in that your companions (the ones you dungeon crawl with), level up as you use them. They may come into your shop - I always try to give them a good deal if they want to upgrade their armor or weapon.

TL;DR it's fun, play it!

Great! I was in need of sale :)
Oh god, I started work right when this sale started, I missed so much. ;_;
Response from Support regarding the store credit issue:

Hello,

I'm very sorry, but you have to use Store Credit first, when taking part in the Insomnia sale.
I hope this is not huge inconvenience for you.

Best regards,

GOG.com Support

My response:

Seriously?

Yes, this is a huge inconvenience. Check my previous purchase history during these events. No purchases for me in this sale.

Signed,

One unhappy customer.
