On the one hand, this looks intriguing. On the other, a Mad Max that doesn't look like Mel Gibson is an instant turn-off. Are there any mods for this game that make Max look more like Mad Mel?

MysterD: This game was already DRM-FREE on Origin.
From what I know it is Denuvo free, but still requires the Origin client to launch.

Bigghu: Does anyone know if this version has something else that it does not have on Steam?

Sachys: A distinct lack of DRM? :D
I asked if there was any extra content, but... OK!

Bigghu: To say that I don't like GOG Connect would be lying, but generally I always prefer to buy here when a game is on both platforms, especially when it has achievements.

If GOG had the game before, it certainly wouldn't have bought on Steam. Does anyone know if this version has something else that it does not have on Steam?
The Ripper DLC (Steam: pre-order exclusive / Australia exclusive).
No-DRM (Steam: Denuvo)

You also get to download an actual installer for future use.
Been thinking about this game for a while, nice to see it has all the DLC included! Wonder if we can see Injustice and F.E.A.R 3 anytime soon.

Seems like it:
https://www.nexusmods.com/madmax/mods/17
This looks worse than the default one that is in the game. Not even close to looking like Mel Gibson.

Personally I don't dislike the look of Max in this game. I always prefer character models that are not based on some Hollywood actor. If I want to see Mel or whoever in action I watch the movies but I don't need them in a game.

To be honest it's really hard to take Mel Gibson seriously after his role in Expendables 2. I felt that he trying too hard to look fit at that age. Hell, they portray Antonio Banderas better in that movie by making fun of him trying to look young.

Thanks! So this pre-order was never released afterwards for separate purchase on Steam.

I think I'll take it, since on Steam there is no way to get 100% because of online achievement that there is no way to do it. I imagine that this achievement should not even be around here.
Was not expecting this.
Ah , Mad Max!
