Bigghu: Does anyone know if this version has something else that it does not have on Steam?

kai2: Similar to rage, yes... although here you are constantly finding new hideouts and clearing them out with Arkham-style combat..

I do not remember any races, but there are car chases where you will need to stop or destroy convoys. The car battles are a definitely a highlight.

The game is quite monotonous... but... has some points of brilliance in it.

I think I paid $5 for it on console and felt it was well worth it.
How does the save system work? Is it similar to Fallout 3?

Please GOG, put just cause 2, 3 and 4 DRM free
I'm getting a heavy Batman Arkham series vibe from this game and I don't know if I like it. Will watch a review.
Does it work with an Xbox 360 controller?

I mean, it is a game from WB, so they basically took the Arkham combat engine and put it in the game.

Well, it depends on the publisher of that series.
This one is going on my wishlist and likely buying before the sale ends.

A lot of fond memories of the movies Mad Max, Mad Max: Road Warrior and Mad Max: Beyond Thunder Dome.

(Regardless if it has nothing to do with the actual movies) :)

The game is Arkham-style combat... although, Max does not break off from an attack without finishing move and being vulnerable during it (as I remember). For me, that meant I had to play more carefully than Arkham brawls.

If WB continues... would love to see Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War on GOG.

Sorry, don't remember... but I seem to have a feeling it auto-saved after a hideout was cleared. But don't quote me... I played about 5 years ago?

Controller support (XInput, DualShock 4) is a thing in this.
While I am indifferent to this specific game on GOG, I hope the other Avalanche Studios series come here sooner than later....

Thanks GOG/WB/etc.for making this game DRM-free.

This game was already DRM-FREE on Origin.
I doubt it was tough to bring that version over here to GOG.

They really should remove the DRM on the Steam-version, TBH.

Regardless, still glad to see this game come to the DRM-FREE Kingdom of GOG, where it rightfully belongs.

I wasn't aware of that! Interesting for people to know.

However I still am more or less repeating mazewaliztli wish.

Since we're now talking Just Cause series - yep, I'd also like to see Just Cause 1-4 in their most Complete of Editions with all DLC's hit GOG in the usual DRM-FREE Fashion that GOG is known for, of course.

I hope that sooner or later we'll have also an event like for the release of the Batman-centric games, but this time about Lord of the Rings with all the WB games dedicated to the franchise.
