DyNaer: but if you got already the soundrack in the old package , i agree the soundtrack should be included free of charge with the new release.
There is no point in rebuying the soundtrack if you already have the old one; it's the exact same music tracks.

True ;)

RWarehall: The 80% discount coupon is still missing. While I'm happy some of you got this for free, the penalty for not buying the DLC for $4.99 and only the two base games is that I apparently have the honor of paying $23.99 if I want this (the same as anyone who didn't own any of it before). Regardless, kinda makes my original purchase of Darksiders II useless, as it appears I'll never be able to add the DLC to it.
Hmm that is a problem. I can see why they pulled the DLC from the store since they want new customers to buy the new version however that leaves you with a problem. They should have done a mailout to existing customers of the game who didn't own the DLC with a link that gave you an option to buy it. Then assign you the upgraded version since you would own the lot.

That is true which means that there is still at least one great track (fight on the planes with the giant) missing :(

KiNgBrAdLeY7: ***WARNING, Long Post!***

1) Graphics ARE better. For older systems, this can be a slight hindrance, though, since game might seem like lagging. Also, for me at least, each and every time i alt-tab to peek at the collectibles guide, graphics get completely messed up, so i have to quit and restart game. Other than that, they are sweet.
*snip*
Thanks for the detailed response :). Although Grargar's response with those two screenshots (old vs new) is making me wonder ?

It's like I said a subjective thing. The lightning and the textures ARE better - no doubt about it. However if you like the new colour grading that is up to you.

I made a rollback to the old version yesterday due to constant crashing of the 'new' Nordic version (every five to ten minutes). There's a lot of work to do for Nordic. Glad to have the old Backup Files.
The idea of giving the DLC items in game as reward is nice so far. Hope they fix this buggy version asap.
So my advise to GOG. Bring back the old version for download as long as the 'new' version doesn't work.

if you have bought the previous version here, the installers files are still avaible through your library

otherwise, its seems reasonable in the actual state of this release to bring back the original version as purchase option, but i guess that's something which must be dealt with Nordic...

So, when we will be getting the patch for the game?
I am grateful that I got the games for free, but still,
giving us a game with such a bad port, that will leave a bad taste

I'd guess that with the actual fall sale GOG has much to do at the moment so it may take a few days more since it arrives here. Maybe Judas can englighten us.

What also leaves a bad taste is owning the base game and having the DLC removed from the catalog.
Then add on top of that a promised discount code that never arrives which will probably be expired if it ever does...
Heck, if I would have bought the DLC at the same time, it would have cost me $4.99 (I also own Darksiders I). Instead, if I want to "add the DLC" by getting the new edition, it will cost me $23.99 like everyone else.

Just kinda all around bad.
Looks like I have to rescind my "good form Nordic" comment from earlier, this game crashes like a mofo.

And the framerate is still shit for no reason. I should not see frameskipping on a 4ghz i7, R9 290X PC.

First Nordic pisses me off with the insultingly poor support for Legend of Kay, and now they drop this mess on us.
Any news about the patches? I'm stuck forever after 1st dungeon, it crashes everytime i try to pass over the entrance of the other area after the field with the giant one eye monster.
Tried everything, no shadoes, compatibility, Administrator.
Nothing seems to get this title working.

Why this delay, why this bad behaviour for GOG users?
Feel your pain bro, I'm stuck at the same point, my rig is running Win7 64-bit
