UPDATE: Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is now available for pre-load through GOG Galaxy. If you pre-ordered the game, you can Download the client, and begin installing the game right now.

Я ваш большой поклонник уважаемые CD PROJECT RED и хочу вас поблагодарить за трилогию Ведьмака от всего сердца ! Ожидаю , что Thronebreaker выйдет с классным сюжетом - как вы это умеете делать обычно . Я даже признаюсь , что мне Ведьмак 2 : Убийцы королей больше нравится , чем все остальные 2 игры - как раз таки из-за сюжетной составляющей и до сих пор не понимаю , почему вы не добавили в 3 часть Йорвета и Саэссентис .

There are two ways to play. The normal mode, which includes the Gwent battles.

The second is 'Story Mode' this removes the Gwent battles if you do not wish to play them.

Kassad666: Instead of creating Thronebreaker, it would've been better to provide information months ago about Gwents future, how pre release/v1.0 cards would be implemented and NOT ignore/delete posts from people who were worried about the (lots of) money they spend on their favourite dev/game. THAT should've been priority no 1.
But they did released some information about upcoming changes. For example, new battlefield was revealed some time ago.

Actually, they told few months ago that Homecoming update for Gwent will be released with Thronebreaker. And all new cards from Thronebreaker will be available in Gwent for crafting.

This is just strange. I too invested in Gwent, but I understand that Gwent was in BETA stage when anything could change and I won't be happy about it (by the way, I really HATED when they removed "triple" cards). When you started to play Gwent you too knew that game in OPEN BETA stage of development, right? And no, your money stays with you: CDPR stated that if they wipe any progress - all bought kegs and dust will be returned to customers accounts.

Does GOG even have that functionality? With everything having no DRM, don't see how they'd lock it until the launch date... Steam encrypts the pre-loads and even then, I've always found it quicker to just download the game when it launched cause the decryption process was slower than my Internet connection could download it again

Hmnm... maybe that's meant for consoles as it's coming to PS4 and Xbox One
