Eh. It's over? I was the only bad guy/gal? ... OK, that was strange. Especially since I didn't know that I killed Ulisses. I thought there were some other culprits. That is kind of unsatisfying. I think I should have known that I did the kill.

There, there. If you come over to the courtroom, you can shank anybody you want!
Just not me.

Damn it, you're right. I thought I had it on the role, but I wasn't that satisfied with the original draft, and on rewriting it I forgot to put that phrase back in :( I really should have paid much more attention to what I sent out.

Ah well, mistakes happen. Still an interesting setup, but it will need some more balancing, I think.

Yeah, thoughts so far are to have it open, to inform the SK of what the setup looks like, or an additional SK.
I may run it again at some point, but not sure if/when.

Another possibility of balancing would be not to reveal the full setup to the SK, but to give him a safe claim. For example: "There is no Tracker in the game." or whatever.

JMich: Adam finally been decided that Catherine must be killed and grabbed the sword off the mantle - which had been cleaned by Constance after the beheading of Ulysses by Eunice and then placed back in its proper place - and escorted Catherine with blade in her back out of the living room, through the hallway, out the foyer and front door to the outside.
...
After everyone had made their way over Adam said, "Okay, here it goes" , and with a swift stroke, Catherine was beheaded, and dead.
Days late, but I still wanted to say: You are coming along VERY nicely, dear!

JMich: You are Adam Collins, the husband of Eunice (Adderly) Collins. Quite frankly, you're only here because Eunice (Adderly) Collins dragged you. You are ashamed to admit it, but you are scared of that woman, and you wouldn't mind if something was to happen to her. You would never do it yourself though, you are too afraid of what she might do should she find out.
And this also played out amusingly. :D

drealmer7: He was the one who killed me, and would continue to play the NKer role (on top of Ix N2+), until the rest of you figured out that it was an all town game/mod-interference game and to Vote JMich
Except there was no room to insert that by the time Lift was up for lynch. I'd already confirmed that neither of you could be voted, so there was no reason to go back and vote for you again later.

Well since he'd already been getting heat for a while/it seemed like it was possible early on that he'd get lynched, I had started working on the idea a couple days before the lynch actually happened, but yes, you're right, there was no way to really get you voting for him at that point.

P.S. - I didn't come up with the setup at all, but I wrote a good portion of the flavor. Not the PMs, but I did the names and most of the flavor posts (tweaked the intro post, wrote the execution post, and wrote the CSPVG prod flavor.)

Thanks again, JMich, it was definitely good getting that under my belt before hosting my own.

I would like a bunch of the games that have been run to be re-run, perhaps with slight variances or whatever to keep them not fully-predictable (not that that's entirely bad though.) Also, not telling the players that it is a re-run game could be good.

Perfect opening for something I'd been meaning to ask: was the family name of "Adderly" deliberately chosen for "adder" + "ly"? As in "like an adder"?

Not specifically because of "adder", but when I happened upon "Adderly" it seemed like a good fit for many reasons/just seemed like the right fit, and "adder" certainly wasn't lost on me.

That reminds me of a joke probably only mathematicians will get:

The Ark has landed. Noah tells all the pairs of animals: "Go forth and multiply!" when they leave the Ark.
But a pair of serpents answers: "We can't multiply. We are adders!"

Still they leave the Ark and a while later Noah finds them next to a fallen tree and they are, you know, multiplying.
Noah asks: "I thought you couldn't multiply because you are adders!?"
They answer: "Yes, but with logs we can!"

Well, you can certainly use your turn in the queue for that purpose. ;)

HAH! Does that mean you have no interest in my setup? ):

No, it wasn't that kind of slam. I'm not that big a jerk.

I was mostly just pointing out that most people get to run maybe 1 game a year, and as a general rule / for better or worse we all want to run that one super awesome idea we each had, rather than retread a game that already ran.

If I was going to mod 3 games this year, then sure, maybe I replay JMich's game or something about a ...deep smelly cellar or something.

Slightly Stinky Cellar might be better, we could investigate a murder that almost happened ;-)
