They're doing good work with Turok and System Shock, despite GOG users still feeling a bitter taste in our mouths. I hope they're able to port the N64 Turok games at some point; I think Night Dive can have a promising future with porting. (Heck I wish Atari would let them have at the Blood license.)

I don't think that Atari own the series. In a similar case to Heretic/HeXen, they seem to only own the publishing rights as a result of having purchased the original publisher (GT Interactive), while the games themselves remained property of Monolith Productions. My conclusion stems from two observations:
1) The games were nowhere to be found during Atari's auction. Considering that Atari was willing to even sell Rollercoaster Tycoon and their Atari 2600 catalog, I seriously doubt they would leave Blood of the auction if they owned it. Another game that they didn't include in their auction was Master of Magic, which they claimed was the case because they didn't own the game, but only had publishing rights for it. Coincidence? I don't think so.
2) According to Monolith Productions' site, Blood belongs to Warner Bros, their parent company.

Thanks for posting that. It's a shame that Killing Time and several others are lost in legal limbo. Is there any chance they could still get the rights to Killing Time from the other party?
Also, I'm really excited to see Turok 2 coming to GOG. I've had a great time with Turok so far. (FPS platforming notwithstanding.)
