Night Dive posted a YouTube video about how Mark Valentine is re-making System Shock 2 with the Source engine.

Night Dive shared Patton Oswalt's Star Wars filibuster on Facebook, but it probably does not mean anything.

I've been thinking about things.

- Night Dive teased SS2, and the game was released on GOG.
- Night Dive teased IHNMAIMS, and the game was released on GOG.
- Recently Night Dive has teased LucasArts games like Full Throttle and Grim Fandango.

They're young and there isn't a lot of data, but I have to believe that if Night Dive teases something they aren't just getting up hopes falsely.

My only curiosity would be why Night Dive would be necessary as the rights of LucasArts games aren't in limbo as they're now owned by Disney. Maybe in this case Night Dive would act more as a middleman in helping GOG interact and work with Disney?

because Disney has no interest in doing anything with Lucasarts or their properties at this time instead they rather just "pimp" them out or license them out if you would.

Are you saying that Night Dive are going to release Pyst too?

Heh, I'll assume it's a joke :)

The only thing I'm P.Y.S.T. about is not seeing Myst 3 and 4 on GOG yet :(

I've heard Microsoft has it's hands dipped in those titles...

That said, I can easily get hard copies for Xbox and PS2, which I'd be more than willing to get (they're even $20 or less on Amazon). But I'd prefer them here.

We're close to 600 likes... sounds like a decent reason to have a give away, what do you think?

Sounds good to me :)
FB:

How many of you actually played Albion when it released? Wouldn't it be awesome to have it run on modern operating systems?
Hmmmmm.

Like you said, LucasArts is just a licensor now. So that's where a licensee like Night Dive would come into play.

I think it's very possible. Even if they don't get the distribution rights to all the games, even a handful would be a big deal from such a well known brand.

Huh, interesting. I wonder if Night Dive was able to talk to some people at Ubisoft that GOG couldn't, or something?

I did, and still works perfectly in Dosbox. Still, it's strange that Night Dive is teasing it. GOG already has Ubisoft on board, so getting Albion themselves shouldn't be a problem. <_<
Albion was a great, very underrated gem. Unfortunately this also means that it's not going to have the WOW factor of SS2 and Wiz8.
