I just beat the Queen. The game is great. This is how Metroid 2 Remake should have been done! Nintendo, shame on you! You're killing your own bounty hunter!

BTW, I found a working link:
http://am2r-another-metroid-2-remake.en.uptodown.com/windows

From now on, If one link die, I'll always try to provide a working one. It will be present on my first post.
I wonder how and when are we going to get fixes for the few critical bugs like the invisible suit.
Downloading now. Thanks for the tip!
Just finished it. Impressive how it got me into it. It's rare that I feel such eagerness to finish a game so quickly.

I tried to get 100%, but even though I couldn't see anything else on the map, I got just 91%. :(

We wish we could forget about it too, but then you have her in that stupid blue suit, now with GLOWING HIGH HEELS for added stupidity in Smash 4. And Tangentially Related: Metroid Prime Blast Ball.

If Nintendo wants us to forget, then they should probably not have reminded us of the superior Prime series.

If anyone can't get ahold of this I'm splitting the files and making a downloader script to get the game.

Metroid Prime, really good games I wish they'd do more with. I'm also really sad the new MegaMan game that was based on using Metroid Prime (or by the same team) never happened. Mavrick Hunter was it? I forget...

Yeah, it was Maverick Hunter, based in the X universe. Apparently people were shocked that the robots looked like robots, however.

Err... why would that be? I mean... all the robots look like robots. Indeed most of them had looks/behaviors to animals and insects and the like, and some of them look like sheer robots (yellow hats and guns and legs).
Here I downloaded the full game patched to v1.1

Because our Protagonist is based on technology X00 years in the past, and many of the "main" characters also based on said past technology were more "human" shaped.

Thanks! :D
Huh, it's just the full game again but patched up to version 1.1. Guess that answers my question how updates would be handled.
New in this version:
- Fixed gravity suit not being rendered in certain systems
- Fixed room transition in area 3 entrance
- Fixed language file detection, the game can be fully translated now
- Added transport pipe to final area
- Balanced Omega fights a bit
- Other minor fixes
I didn't experience the gravity suit glitch, but the other fixes are nice.

Pretty much as expected for a small free game. The only reason to do a patch is when the game is large or not free (because a patch can be easily distributed for free without giving the actual game away for free).
Another Metroid 2 Remake, Corporations, IP and art

For those interested. :)
