First of all, Anyone requesting a refund is a weak gamer to begin with. I had tons of problems, crashing for the first couple of days, and guess what. I got over it. What? Don't like the plot of the game? Well STILL > than Fallout 4, skyrim and etc.

They have done better than any game company so far second to No Man's Sky.

I am more than willing to let them take a while longer to develop the game like Hello Games worked their butts off.

NO game company before has ever delivered a SOLID Perfect game. Just give them some time, they already have the entire world all over their A - S - S.

Blizzard's BS move to make d3 & d4 online only sucked. Origin's DRM out the wazoo move for all their games is shitty. EA.............. I could spend the next 10 years listing all of their BS, and 15 seconds listing their positives. So why doesn't everyone just give them a little time.

In the same boat, got an email asking if I wanted store credit or refunded back to CC. Said store credit was ok . But that was some days ago now.

If the game was JUST buggy, I would happily shelve it, wait for patches, and play it later as previous experience with witcher games has proved that the developers will fix bugs. But it's boring, written poorly, and most important for me is that it's not an RPG and core gameplay elements feel broken or missing.

I'm giving GoG the benefit of the doubt that it's holiday season and a major release with lots of issues are preventing them from providing prompt refunds. Also, it feels a wee bit tongue in cheek that the prologue lasts as long as it does considering that steam processes refunds based on play time. Was that intentional? No idea.

Are you actually trash talking people for expecting a £50 game to work? I'd rather be a weak gamer than a weak individual that has zero self-respect and has happily given up their consumer rights for the sake of flexing on the internet.

It's not crying to expect something you paid for to work properly and only an idiot would think so. Also the expectation of a timely refund for substandard product is not crying. I requested a refund a week ago, got the quick automated reply in reponse to which I reiterated my request, and then nothing since. Futher, either GOG's zendesk is borked or the ticket was erased because I get a "page missing/disabled" error when I try to view it.

If they're more than a week behind on processing refunds they need to make some arrangement to expedite the process. If, on the other hand, CDPR is stalling and hoping some people will give up on refunds if they cling to their customers' money long enough—something I would have thought well beneath them a week ago, but can now no longer entirely discount—then this whole episode is even sadder than I thought.

Several members of the press are following this rather closely, especially on the heels of the bizarre backpedal on console refunds.

If anyone does manage to get a refund to their original purchase method (I assume GOG wallet refunds aren't facing such delays) or at least a non-automated reply that it will be honored, please post here. Thanks.

I submitted a request on the 11th, changed my mind on the 12th, never heard anything either way.

i've requested a refund on dec 11 and accepted the "wallet conversion funds" but nothing happened. I don't espected this beahvior from gog. Really a bad pratice
regarding the page missing/disabled issue i can acces my ticket by clicking on the link that you can find in the response mail: it say "open"

It seems CDP, CDPR and GOG all planned to get away with everything. Their assessment of what would happen was just as wrong as mine when I preordered Cyberpunk and expected to not fall through the floor.

IT's been four days since I asked for a refund to wallet. Haven't heard jack. You'd think a wallet refund would be done in 24h max since it's within the system, but nope. My patience is running out.

For me it's been 8 days since I asked for a credit card refund. My patience is running out as well. Consider doing a chargeback.
