The way this all went, the management behind it is either incompetent, malicious or a combination of both.
Nothing like the consumer friendly image the company had that made millions preorder.

The preorder email had a "thank you for believing in us" banner. I don't need thanks. I just want off this ride.
I did a request on the 10th. I got one automated message. Nothing since. Not even the wallet message.

Although, once I read they first send an automated message for a wallet refund, I explicitely said to refund to my bank account. (I paid through Ideal, which I'll never do again for a game)
Since I still haven't received a response either it's a good idea to keep this thread going, let's not let CDPR get away with this because it's bordering on them deliberately ignoring people now who are genuinely trying to get a refund.
This is becoming very frustrating GOG, requested a refund to my PayPal account 8 days ago like some other members here.
The silence hurts the most, a confirmation that they are looking into request after the automated email response, would at least put me at ease.

Lost all trust in CDPR after such a great experience with Witcher series.

I also requested a refunded after playing it for a few hours. Haven't launched the game since the request.

I've also only had the automated response.

It's not that it's buggy, it's just a bad game in my opinion.
Got an email from both Paypal and GOG just a moment ago about full cash refund back to my paypal account. They also removed the game from my library so I'm satisfied.

So for those still waiting after only having contacted GOG, if you have used Paypal use the dispute center as this seems to speed things up.
Hopefully they're just backlogged and they're working through things, at least some people are getting refunds now.

Yep. I opened a dispute on Paypal this morning and was refunded within the hour.
Sucks to be me then used a credit card

monkeyfudge, what did you list as the reason for the dispute? I'm guessing the "I received an item not as described?"

There was also an option for billing issues, but that didn't seem appropriate once I looked closely.

happystuffing: Let's start a refund thread shall we?

I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

This was two days ago.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..
Yeah, it's been 8 days since I confirmed I wanted my original payment method credited. It's pretty frustrating that its taken this long. I get they are busy and all that, but this is getting ridiculous if you ask me.
I requested a refund and declined store payment - received a response from an actual human stating that they could only give me store credit for whatever reason, I again declined store credit and they informed me that they would be refunding me the full amount to my bank account (might take a few days).

The game has been removed from library. Still feel disappointed as its feels i've been had, done over by another Peter Molyneux.

Oh well, guess i'll play CK3.

They screwed you over before and still wanted to try screwing you over once more.
