dgnfly: I take it nobody got their refund yet?
avatar
1Lethn1: Some people have apparently but I haven't.
Same for me, and still no clue if they are actually going to do so. It feels more like they wanna wait this shit out and hope people will eventually look the other way or won't bother with doing so.

meatwizard: monkeyfudge, what did you list as the reason for the dispute? I'm guessing the "I received an item not as described?"

There was also an option for billing issues, but that didn't seem appropriate once I looked closely.
avatar
monkeyfudge: Yep. I went with 'item not as described'

They then have a set period to reply before it gets escalated to a dispute and Paypal gets involved.

But like I said, they refunded me within the hour once I raised the issue via paypal. I was just completely ignored going through the channels on here.

Don't know how they expected Sony and Microsoft to issue refunds, when they won't even do it on their own storefront with the generous refund policy that they boast about.
But this doesn't work if you pre-ordered and now you try to lodge a dispute being outside the 180 days of purchase. I did somewhere read that you are not allowed as a merchant to use paypal as a payment method for pre-orders especially if your product is more than 20 days away from delivery (unconfirmed).

There is also no method to dispute the dispute with paypal once they've automatically closed it.

Hi everyone,
I've asked for a refund on Tuesday evening after clocking about 8 hours of gameplay time. Got my automated reply back, answered to that but then silence.

I can understand them being literally submerged with requests, but I think this is a little too much...
Hello everyone, I just thought I'd share my experience.

I refunded my game the morning after release (Dec 10) because of the incompleteness. I heard back from them a week later. I'm sure that queue has only gotten longer.

I updated my GoG Email after submitting the ticket to be an Email I would more likely see a reply to and that broke the ticket because it was verified based on email so I couldn't see it anymore, but that bit is handled through ZenDesk and seems like a ZenDesk issue.

The support person reached out to me and sent me a direct email himself after replying to my ticket and made sure I saw that he was pushing my refund through. I haven't received it yet, it has to go through an accounts team now so I'm sure it'll be a little bit, I'm just gonna finish my latest Witcher 3 run while this gets more time to bake and hopefully grab up some sale games with my refund.
SAme in here, in my case i accepted to refund in GOG wallet on the same 15th of december, nobody refund me the money yet after 5 days, the ticket is open and i leave there one message per day but there is no money or even a reply.

What we shoudl do?

Invade Poland?
It pains me to have to join the public moaning but it's become silly.

Requested a refund a little over an hour after installation, filled in the autoreply email asking for cash refund and have heard nothing since.

To the guy who can't see his ticket/refund request when logged in - you have to click on the ticket number link in the automated email they send. That's the only way to see the ticket.

It's been 9 days and I'm close to opening a chargeback with my credit card provider. I'd rather not, but I bought direct through GOG to do CDPR a favour, and rather ironically I would have had a refund a week ago if I had bought it on Steam.

Shit happens but the radio silence is the worst part.

This is exactly what I truly dislike about all of this: the radio silence. I don't mind waiting for my money but at least I'd like to get updates (for example) on where I am in the queue and when I should expect to have an answer back.

Any news? Has anybody actually got a refund, gog wallet or otherwise?

TencentInvestor: Xbox coming through, as expected.

Still waiting for my refund, GOG.
You played 24 hours, you don't deserve a refund.
Still nothing on my end so yeah I think I'm done with CD Projekt Red when I get my money back and I will.

Asshats like you are worthless by default.
And of course now we have people predictably running damage control for CD Projekt Red because they can't take that Cyberpunk is a broken product.

I've also asked for a refund on the day the game was launched. That was 11 days ago and the only thing I've heard from them is the automated message asking me whether I would like a store refund or for the money to go back into my bank account. I clearly said I NO I don't want store cush and haven't heard anything from them since. This is getting too ridiculous. I have the recommended specs to run the game on high graphics 1080p and I won't get above 12 fps. I tried many things and could not get the game to run above 15. Yet still no response from them...
