Let's start a refund thread shall we?

I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

This was two days ago.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..

The bugs don't bother me that much with such a big scale game I could understand those problems. but if you look at another thread you can see they might have gone "Woke" with censoring nudity. Censorship is in my eyes a sin that is inexcusable.

The offline patch installer isn't working at all so I can't even update at the moment. But I blame that on the GOG staff for being useless as usual. kinda like how they curate things on this platform and censoring anybody who criticises their decisions.

The thing is, they knew the game wasn't ready or feature complete. I would not want to put too much pressure on lower level employees though who don't have a say in the matter.

I never got a response for my refund confirmation reply telling them to put in on my paypal so I just started playing the game anyway. There isn't much else I want to play except for Assetto Corsa now and just decided to tinker with Cyberpunk out of curiosity now.

I've seen many NPCs talking to me without their mouths moving and them holding invisible items and such. I want to love the game and what effort was actually put into it but won't feel bad about getting a refund after playing it anyway.

No, I don't feel screwed. Sure it was annoying, but this isn't anything I haven't seen before (Bethesta anyone?). Everyone seems to forget that this is a massive complicated game, that was completed under unusual circumstances (pandemic) and it was always going to be buggy to some extent. At some point they were going to have to stop working on it and release it. Remember the ridiculous amount of outrage over the 3 week delay? People wanted it and they got it. With some persistence one can resolve some of the issues and play the game. I've got maybe 12-15 hours in. Yes, it crashes about every hours or so, but I'm liberal with my quicksaves and so I lose little progress.

I've already had the pleasure of modifying my penis size to be "large" so it's a bit too late to go woke in the nudity for me! Not fooling this guy! However, the offline patch worked here so I'm sorry about that.

Let;s not use Bethesda as an excuse for this behavior. They could have called it an open beta for those who wanted it before it was ready and that would have been acceptable. Yes, it is complicated, but it IS dishonest to call this a 1.0 game when it is really more like a .90 beta. It IS a BETA version.

What are you talking about? This game throws a full frontal dick in your face on the character screen if you want it.

Patch gives the same problem that most users here have been reporting about. that it just refuses to install, and even freezes at the start. This might not be Fallout 76 scale of failure but it sure is coming close. I don't mind the waiting but the lack of support staff giving clear answers is pretty tiresome.

So you asked for a refund but still want to play the game?

Same thing, been like 3 days I'm still waiting and getting automated questions if I want the funds in the GOG wallet.

This is worrying as I sent off the refund request this morning, and have already received the "will you accept store credit" email. I would like to think that I'll receive my refund within the next 24 hours, not receive five days of radio silence!

same boat here. I have requested a refund saturday and accepted gog wallet conversion and still nothing from gog.
I'm starting to get really annoyed from those delays
I asked for my refund yesterday. No one should pay $60 for this disaster of a game.

il hope you will get your refund this is unacceptable
This game does not support super ultrawide! UI elements are far apart and sometimes game elements just vanish or you get constant 16:9 black bars on right and left (not cinematic but just like in cinematic) with UI hidden in those black zones.
