TencentInvestor: There is another thing I want to say on the topic of refunds.
GOG committed to a policy of allowing refunds even after playing a game during a 30 day period after purchasing.
The Cyberpunk we got on launch is effectively an early access game and will remain one for months to come. Playtime should not influence the ability to refund this unfinished game, regardless of whether you played it for 2 hours or 200 hours during this launch window. This game is work in progress mislabeled and falsely marketed as a finished product.
I believe I have said all there is to say on this matter by now and will refer GOG to my forum posts should any questions about my refund request arise. I will not forget what CDPR has done here but life goes on and redistributing my money to developers who don't lie in my face is a first step to a better future.
I concur. At this point I'm not mad or upset at CDPR because they have done no different than the likes of EA, Blizzard, Ubisoft, and Bethesda. I am not upset that game urinalists are talking about literally anything but the actual important aspects of the game itself. I am enraged that so many of my fellow consumers have become apologists and excuse this garbage when they would in the same breath condemn the aforementioned 4 horsemen of bad videogame development.
Now with CDPR, we have 5 horsemen. Better and more true RPG's and triple A games exist, so it's not like anything was lost; those old great games still exist. CB2077 will simply be scrubbed as another failed massive investment of time and effort like Anthem or ME: Andromeda.
