I'm also in your exact situation, and honestly it gets extremely annoying because I would have (had) money to spend on the stuff, but it's literally barred from use by them. There is no excuse for not even having back a message from a human being after so much time.

I guess they really don't want our business here.

Check your tickets people.

I opened 2 tickets asking for refund, after replying to the automatic email the tickets were set as "Open".
But 3 days later when i checked, they were set as Solved and closed without any further reply after the automatic bot answer!!

Check every now and then.
There is also a second automated follow up email requiring you to answer with "#solved", so that the automated system can close the ticket automatically. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS ONE IF YOU WANT A REFUND. In other words, your ticket will generate two automated responses. The first one you HAVE TO REPLY in order to keep the ticket open (the bot normally asks if you want the refund to your bank or if wallet credit is ok).
As far as I know, refund requests for Cyberpunk from Dec 15 onward have not been processed yet. Mine hasn't.
Really really cheeky of them to try and close without resolving the refund request properly yes it does seem like a lot of the process is automated and for some reason they were trying to close things be persistent and just keep the ticket active I guess that's what I did.
Okay!
Just 56 more years until refund.
2 weeks now since asking for a refund, still nothing.
And I have barely 5 hours of play (shows 8 hours but most of it have been being on char select and afk one day I let the game run, my longest save is me landing to my apaprtment (aka 45min of real play probably)) I had stopped playing the game on my own few days even before I submit the ticket.
And anyway I cannot even launch or play the game because of the update problem blocking me...

1 week for any refund for anyone is way too damn long and unacceptable.

An update for those that still are waiting.

I received an email today and the ticket solved, they will refund the game but it might take a few days for the transaction.

I opened the ticket at 13th of December, so you have an idea how long it will take.

I, for one, am satisfied considering the cirquimstances. The game might not be what I expected and had its issues, but so long as they honor their refund policy, I am good. It takes a while, but considering the volume of customers waiting, it's understandable. I may not pre-order next time, wait for reviews, but GOG didn't lose me as a customer, although I will take into account my delayed support experience in the future.

Same here, opened on 13th and got it today. My disappointment in CDPR is immense, but as far as GOG experience is concerned, and considering the circumstances, I'm fine with the long wait.

I'm glad that you both got your refunds and are satisfied with outcome.

I, however, am on day 22 of waiting for anything aside from the automated emails and merely wanted the Wallet funds to use towards the Winter Sale...which has ended.

Even if GOG's claim of wanting to offer the discounts to those waiting actually comes to pass (which I'll believe it when I see it at this point) I doubt very seriously I'll ever purchase another game from this service again due to how inefficient and frustrating the whole process has been. Did either of you get any information about the discounts being offered when you got your refunds? Because that's another waiting game I'm not willing to play and as far as I'm concerned, GOG will have swindled me out of $59.99.

I get circumstances were difficult, but now I not only do not have a game, but I do not have the games I would have purchased OR my funds in ANY form.

And to clarify, I'm not upset you folks got your refunds and are satisfied, my main point was to ask if they'd offered any insight about the Winter Sale discounts. I just needed to vent a bit as well over what I see as unsavory business practices.

Well, I didn't actually get it yet, just got the ticket solved and was told it's up to accounting now and may take a few buisness days for the money to appear in my account, after they issue the refund. The game is removed from my GOG account.

Any complications, and I'll be here singing another tune soon enough lol

They didn't mention anything about sales, so nothing more than what I've heard I don't even remember where from. There are sales all the time though in many platforms, I don't mind.

This is a good point. They lose lose in that situation. They lose the sale from the refund and they lose the purchases with the returned money that could have been spent in the sale. But I am doubtful, considering how swarmed GOG support is right now, that they will honor post sale prices. Too much hassle. At best we will get some discount codes.
In the end, I am not upset at GOG per se. CDPR (publishing side) shafted their own platform. The tech support side wasn't prepared for the onslaught of requests. The game was released in such a haste that it left their entire corporate processes with numerous fires to put out across the board, management, PR, development, legal, Gog Galaxy, Gog website, etc.. The consequence of mismanagement of a game with such high demands and expectations, and one that was over-marketed in my opinion (I don't see that Cyberpunk anime happening any time soon).
Still no refund. Requested one over 3 weeks ago now I think.
I'm in the same boat as others here in this thread:
Opened a ticket on December 16th and to this day I still got no response from them. And the sale is already over.

I know they may have a lot on their plate right now (I can personally relate to a situation like this) but it is still really frustrating when you are on the "customer side" of things.
