A month later, my refund is finally on its way.
Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Let's not get tricked by CDPR ever again!

makoulian: So the average waiting time for money refund is 3 weeks?
avatar
Omarios: Got mine today, 3 weeks exactly since requested.

Used the wallet funds to buy 4 older games instead.

Outside of keeping my account live for updates on purchased games, that’s me done with GOG in so far as buying anything further from them.

For anyone as frustrated/disappointed as I have been with the whole Cyberpunk/GOG/CDPR refund debacle, I truly empathise and hope you get your money returned very soon.

Remember, there are no ‘safe’ games publishers. And never again pre-order a AAA title.
what´is the limit of time to ask for a refund?

Now, never trust this kiddie company, ever again. Blacklist them, and keep them in memory as EA, or Epic Games, and remember, their crowd is the children, not their older fans, or even honesty.

Yup. False advertising, bait and switch and straight up lies is their MO.
Did any of you refunders get money back to card? I've send a second ticket now and they replied by asking if I'm okay with gog funds. I'm pondering whether I should accept anyway or ask for just money.

It's been 3 weeks since I asked for a refund so hopefully I'll get mine soon. I opted for GOG funds as there are games on the site I would like. Personally, whilst CP2077 was a disappointment, I don't see it as a reason to be over dramatic and be to just be reasonable.

I really wanted some of the older games GoG acquired in recent months, and had planned to get them in the Winter Sale; but wasn’t paying a penny until my refund on Cyberpunk ‘76 was complete. Therefore I was happy to take the wallet option.

I use the offline downloads to install my games (not Galaxy), so I was concerned they would make issue of the fact they couldn’t track/monitor my downloads and refuse cashback (baseless worrying I know); again, I thought the wallet might be easier for that reason (they do cite something about preventing fraud/pirating when they ask the question on which method of refund you would like).

I would be interested to know if cashback is taking longer than wallet fund requests.
Put in a request for a refund to my card on 15th December.
Still not received a refund!
Lmao refunds yeah right... These scammers don't give two shits about giving refunds
So I applied for a refund to my credit card on the 1st of January having bought the game on the 10th of December. Today I got the message that my refund request is fullfilled but the actual trasnfer of the funds can take up to several business days. In the meantime the game has been deleted from my account.

Will update once I get the funds back. So guys if you're still within 30-day window and feel that you've been decieved and the game didn't meet your expectatons one way or another, request a refund.
Following my earlier post (around 4hrs ago) I have now been refunded (into my GOG wallet, which I was happy to accept) It has taken around 3 weeks from my initial request so I am happy. Just so you know, refunds ARE happening but they are taking a little more time than we would usually expect.

Just FYI, I got my refund yesterday and they double checked to see if I still wanted GOG Wallet Funds or cash back. I asked if the discounts from the Winter Sale would be honored. They replied back asking what games I was going to purchase so they could generate discount links.

Just got the links and everything worked out perfectly.

The timing sucks, but I do feel GOG bent over backwards to rectify the situation once actual communication was established.
Refund is complete, money to my account today, all is good.

Ticket date 13/12.

Just so you know how much it takes more or less.
