hollibolli1970: BS. Yes the Witcher 3 was also buggy, but not nearly as Cyberpunk. The game is at best in a beta state. CDPR hid, well knowing, in what state the game is. They broke all their promises of what will be in the game. This game has no ai, no rpg, no choices. This game is nothing but a looter shooter on rails, with a city, wich is devoid of life. And no, Cyberpunk is actually their worst game to date. Hate to brake it to you, but the Witcher 3 is by far superior in everything but combat, compared to Cyberpunk.

TencentInvestor: NPCs in Witcher 3 go work the fields in the morning and go to bed in the evening. Cyberpunk NPCs circle around aimlessly no matter what.
Exactly. Cyberpunk better than Witcher 3 my a***.

happystuffing: Let's start a refund thread shall we?

I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

This was two days ago.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..
I mean considering the fact that they are overloaded dealing with this, I'm not surprised. Relax. Enjoy the game. You bought this game on GOG...meaning you are a PC player...meaning you have not seen any of the small issues plaguing last-gen consoles. You really should not be complaining about anything.

So just because someone is on PC instead of a console, their problems are trivial and thusly can be overlooked?

How very magnanimous of you.

How about we accept that there are problems with all platforms and that anyone who is upset or unhappy with the results have every right to complain as they see fit?

I certainly have a reason to complain, I haven't been able to play the game at all beyond character setup and intro screens!

But I'm not asking for a refund. Yet.

I'm trying to be patient and see if they fix it or at least provide work arounds for problems. My thread with my issues:

Game on.

Consoles LOL

I have no sympathy for console users in regard to any game the share they took in purchasing FPS titles forced the hands of studios to really dumb games down.

Given the massive workload, I expect refund to take no less than a week. The law probably says 14 or 31 days, so 2 days is nothing.

I really enjoyed the game until official announcement that censorship is intentional and not a bug. I can wait for the bugs to be fixed as long as necessary, but censorship is not what I signed for when customizing genitals. That's breaking promise just for the sake of breaking it.

What a silly take. People, such as myself, are not only refunding for the technical issues (of which there are many on PC) but due to the game absolutely not being what it was marketed as in all of the Night City promo and interviews with game journalists. Is it difficult to understand that just because you enjoy the game, not everyone is the same? Why feel the need to shill for CDP Red in a thread that doesn't apply to you?

Well you are bit luckier than me then. I received a generic automated e-mail response with no mention of a refund that I requested. You know the usual BS along the lines: "if we weren't able to answer your question please reply..."

Storm3000: It's been several days since the 'Are you ok with wallet funds?' response to which I replied 'No, I would rather have the refund sent to my card'.

I'm really not ok with the silence.
I'm having the same problem. Requested a refund almost a week ago and got a reply asking me if I was ok with just having the money transferred to GOG wallet, which I was. What was stated in their email was 'Please confirm if a conversion to GOG Wallet funds, which you could use towards any future purchase on our service, would be satisfactory for you. These funds are assigned immediately and they never expire.' GOG is so busy protecting the developers of this game that they are shitting on the customers who have paid them money. Very not happy with the service this company is giving to it's paying customers.
lol i asked for a refund to Paypal and my status got put on waiting for my reply event though they never replayed. I respoted with why and no have been left on ticket open for a long time. I got a feeling there doing everything possible to prevent refunds but since i bought it on Paypal and Paypal system will protect me as well. So if it don't get on from Gog paypal pretoction and there own 30 day policy will get me the refund in the end. and it be the last CDPR game i buy
Those of you who asked for a refund uninstalled the game, right? Just curious.

I asked for a refund two days ago, btw. Time played is 19hrs, but that seems inaccurate. Maybe it doesn't account for alt-tab time.

I haven't uninstalled it, but I haven't played it. Not because I think it's wrong or something. I just don't want to play the game.

I will erase it after getting the refund. I already stopped playing it.
I too asked for a refund. Game says I played 45 hours, but most of that time was me leaving the game in manu as I was tending to my wife and son who came down with the damn corona virus (I have it too).Actual real playtime is more like 20 hours which in turn was spent on a lot of side mission stuff to really get a sense of the world and game gameplay. This game is just so awful and bad in regards to actual content I was baffled and shocked.

Also got the automated "wallet funds" offer but replied I want it in real cash. Had not heard anything since yesterday about it. In the meantime I got even more sick of the idea of even having the game installed, I removed it and hope this will speed up the game progress.

Having watched some of the game endings on YouTube I can not even imagine picking this up again in the future. Wow. Just wow.... I almost made a preorder of this more than a year ago and got a new PC for this release....
Has anyone received a refund, either to your card or to the GOG wallet yet?
As I paid with Paypal I figure I would give GOG until the end of the week before filing a paypal claim. I know they must be busy with the situation, but it seems not even GOG Wallet refunds are being processed.
I see a few people stating that they are probably overwhelmed and therefore refunds will take some time.

Given the state of this game, they should have hired more people to work on their refund team. I would imagine they would have to lay them off soon though.
