Are there any plans on fixing the animations or replace these logos alltogether?

in the long run, yes, but at this moment, we lack an artist who would be able to recreate them (they are not simple textures, the logos were modeled in 3D then converted, recreating this is not trivial).

How crucial is ADaoB? Is it a must have-mod or can I complete the game just fine without it?
I'm using it right now and is halfway through the game.
well, the bugfixes are nice to have, but the game can be completed without it of course.
Okay. I want to use as few mods as possible since I'm kind of a purist,
I do however have SHTUP and SHMUP alongside ADaoB

Oh good. I thought the floor was supposed to be all black tiled, not striped.
But if you say it's all good then I trust you :)

yeah, the texture work is sometimes a bit weird, but hey, no one really knows how a virtual training center is supposed to look, right?

Stock SS2's floors look like the walls. It's relatively minor though so I wouldn't worry about it.
