You get "invalid code" message after few tries to redeem a code on steam. It locks your ability to redeem codes for 1 hour.

Yeah, this. If it says invalid your account is temporarily locked, redeemed codes have a different message.

STEAM has some connection problems last few days. It just says NO CONNECTION all of a sudden and it connects back in a few minutes.

Same here, thought it was my ISP problem, good to know it's not just me.
