Who is Jesse Cox? Well he's big, he's lovable, he's huggable. And the same is true for the list of GOG.com games that the ultimate YouTuber put together for all you awesome people. I mean, did you see the size of that thing? There are over 40 games in here and they are all Jesse Cox Picks. But if that's not enough for you to give them a spin, how about the tasty discounts we put on top of each and every one of them? Magic? Technology? Theocracy? Perhaps fear, nature, or fiery steel. Whatever your weapon of choice, you shall wield it proudly as you and your opponents take turns on the tactical battles that will decide who will rule over Age of Wonders 3.

The open-world, story-driven RPG sensation of 2015 needs no lengthy introductions. Painted_Doll: Agree . And the funny thing : many of them bought and own their games on Steam and not on Gog .
I'm pretty sure GOG doesn't give a crap where did they get their games as long as it brings traffic to the site and gets more games sold, thus supporting both GOG and the games being sold :-P

tfishell: I'd like to think GOG having the weekend promo early somehow connects to a new batch of WB, Bethesda, Disney etc. releases tomorrow, but there's probably no connection. x-P

NuffCatnip: For the last couple weeks I´ve told myself: Tomorrow´s the day, tomorrow we´ll get Saints Row IV or Vampire: The Maquerade - Bloodlines...you´re not helping. :P
Hope to see FEAR 3 :)

... and Mortal Kombat Trilogy, maybe even MK4.

Painted_Doll: By the way : I don't understand why Gog ....... a youtuber's ....... .
Ooh, Mad Libs! I love those! Let's see...
I don't understand why Gog discombobulates a youtuber's parachute .
[giggles uncontrollably]
Who the hell is Jesse Cox and why is he picking games for sale? Is he an intern for CDProjekt? Good sale thou... Need more than 20% for a few of the titles tho.

Now that I bought Fear 1 + 2, I too would like to see the third one on gog. :)

What´s the difference between the Mortal Kombat on gog and the Mortal Kombat Trilogy ?
o___0 ...

It's already weekend again?? ... YAAAAY!

I guess GOG must have made good proceedings with their time experiments ^^

Yes, and I believe Jesse Cox has always been an ardent supporter of gog (not an active supporter but still).

IronArcturus: Doe anyone know if the sound bug in Sins of a Solar Empire was ever fixed?
Well of course something would have to throw a wrench in my plans to buy Sins of a Solar Empire on sale. -_-

Judas confirmed in another thread that we're getting a "wee bit of a trickling" this week, though it's not part of the upcoming "flood" of games. So something big should be happening!

NuffCatnip: What´s the difference between the Mortal Kombat on gog and the Mortal Kombat Trilogy ?
Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a version of Mortal Kombat 3, which adds even more characters, stages, special moves and fatalities. In addition, it adds the aggressor bar (think something like a rage meter) and the brutalities.

More info.

I only found out about this issue after vising the forum. But unfortunately I can't find any info as to whether it was solved or not. :-/ It's a shame because I really wanted to get that game.

justanoldgamer: If I wasn't retired I'd skip work tomorrow and when my boss would call I'd say "It's the weekend, GOG said so."
avatar
omega64: Call yourself and leave a message.
Boss: "What? What the heck is a GOG?!1?!1 Or did he say cock? His cock said so?!? Are all going crazy these days??? ....." %-D

Maxvorstadt: I found out why the Weekend Promo is so early in the week. The GoG team will come to Munich, because it`s the beginning of the strong beer time today! Yes, you will find them at the Nockherberg the next days!!!!
But then probably only under the tables... ^^
I know this is probably the wrong place to ask for unbiased answers, but if we disregard anything DRM for a moment (including the fact that even the Steam version is not tied to Steamworks), are there any differences between the GOG and the Steam version of Divinity: Original Sin, any advantages, disadvantages that one version has over the other? E.g. multiplayer, modding support, extras etc.?

And apart from the supposedly awesome improvements, any disadvantages the Enhanced version of D:OS has over the old version (e.g. regarding compatibility)? I take it you can't get both version in one package anymore, if you didn't already own D:OS at the time EE was released, right? (And you can't get the original version on GOG anymore?)
