haydenaurion: Jesus, I knew i'd only meet the minimum requirements at best. Upgrades to play it will have to wait. I have my massive gog games backlog to play through anyways.
In May 2015, I probably still play on the Master of the Broken World Campaign ;)

Elmofongo: Unless I cave in and Buy a PS4 or Xbox One for this game.
Judging by the minimum specs provided there is no way the PS4 or Xbone will give you the same experience as Ultra settings on PC. The console version will most likely be 900p at 30 fps since the GPU in the consoles is a modified AMD HD 7870.

Lol, i'll still be playing the Ultima games.

Yeah, I heard MotBW was quite long.
Woah! I knew I needed an upgrade for xmas, my old PC had no chance :P

Now I have i5 2500k, a brand new Radeon R9 290, and 12GB RAM.
I guess I'll manage.
look at the game and system requirements Black Desert online ... CD Projekt Red? you laugh at us?

I have 8GB RAM, so I'm good there, and also on the 64-bit front.
But it seems my GeForce GTX 550 Ti, and my i5-2320 CPU @ 3GHz aren't meeting the minimum for this game, so apparently I won't be able to play it anytime soon. Just glad I didn't pre-order it.
Just a little above the min specs, i guess i will be playing it on low/med

Well at least i will be playing it :P
Besides the CPU requirement (i5 3570K here) I meet all the other recommended ones.

Not in a hurry to get it though, I still haven't played the other two Witcher games.

I only need to upgrade my GPU (currently Radeon HD 6850), that's okay I guess.
Too bad that they had no Resolution details here in the Specs ...

glad that the Phenom II x4 940 is a CPU with only DDR2.
Phenom X4 945 or higher has DDR3 already.
so its must be in the Middle. Also GTX 660 phew. ok no SSAO or HBAO and its running like fluid on 1920 x 1080 ~ 30 FPS maybe :D

but i think if someone has that CPU Phenom X4 965 or higher, He only buy a GTX 970 and should be fine at 1920 x 1080 with almost all Effects on.

Greetz.
How can it possibly be so demanding? WTF?

It's funny that people forget that The Witcher 2 also required a stronger PC to run it smoothly....And, since The Witcher 3 is bigger than the first 2 games TOGHETER, i'm not that shocked about this requirements.... lol

Also, please, don't compare CDPR with Ubisoft, please, CDPR didn't annualized The Witcher, it'll not release 2 (Or evne 3) Witcher games this year, and the only other game they are working on is Cyberpunk 2077....they still have some credits to burn. And if they think that a strong PC is required to fully enjoy The Witcher 3, it's fine....It's not like Ubisoft that is only thinking about money and profit, making deals with only one brand of gpu/cpu while neglecting other.... Please, don't start a drama
It's req are similar to poop AC: unity. I run BF4 on ultra, but it seems I wont be able to run W3. HOW?
Damn, my gtx 750 ti is below the 660 performance-wise. I guess it could probably run since I'm fine as far as cpu and ram goes, but don't think I'd have a pleasant experience with it.
