I'm just a tad below min specs with CPU and GPU, would be interesting to see how it runs on my box.

sebarnolds: I think my graphics card is ok but I don't have enough RAM I think. No idea for the cpu though :(

Also, I'll have to uninstall a few games to install it :)

Not really a problem as I'll wait for the first patches to play it...
get a nice little "Cpu-Z" application to know it all in an instant ;)
Recommended for what exactly? high/1080p/30fps?

disi: I am at the recommended specs, does that mean you can run on 'normal' quality settings?
avatar
Kunovski: I really hope that recommended will grant you the quality the devs wanted to present to you, so everything maxed :)
I remember playing the beta of EQ2 and when that got released, the maximum settings were not playable on any current graphics cards.

So, it might be built for future hardware....

Lowcap: Intel i3 2xxx should be enough, you only need 4 threads, so I think that C2Q should also be ok.

I have Radeon HD 7850, it also should be enough for medium quality, or even more...

About year or more ago I saw, that now " minimum requirements = mid/high" and " recommended = ultra".

disi: Thanks, so the recommended say you get the maximum experience then?
Yep,

Anyway, Recommended overclocked FX-8350 in most games is still worse than any Intel i5 2xxx.
Fx6300 and r9 280.. should be able to do medium to high on 1080 hopefully.. just gotta remember to turn off ubersampling like in witcher 2.
hmm, interesting idea... is the "recommended" spec for FHD or 4K and above?

in that case my old-school computa could handle "high" on the pitiful resolution 1920x1080... :D
I just need to upgrade my internet, finish the first two games and find a new GPU, wich was already on my plans anyway. So bring it on! :D
I think that with i7 4710MQ + GTX 980M I'm fine with recommended requirements (CPU is a bit weaker than i7 3770, but I don't think it will be an issue), but what does "recommended" mean? Is it 1080p & 60 fps?
Indeed, what does "recommended" mean? Does it mean "recommended if you want to maximize the settings" or "recommended to run the game decently"?
I suggest to release a short open beta like Croteam did with The Talos principle, so WE can figure out the true system requirements by ourselves.

I hope it's "Recommended to run it decently..." At least at 1080p/60fps (No matter the graphic quality)

But what i really hope is that CDPR makes tons of graphical customization like they did on TW 2.... I could tweak it without losing too much graphic quality and being able to run it decently.
Well, exactly my CPU and GPU at the minimum.
Aww man, barely made it with the CPU, FX 8350, but GPU us R9 270x Toxic :(
What about with downsampling disabled?
