Elmofongo: I don't know whats my Intel Core Processor but I currently have a GTX 650. Not enough to play this game at Ultra settings :(

Unless I cave in and Buy a PS4 or Xbox One for this game.
No such thing as "Ultra" quality on consoles. *cough*

I'm curious how it will run on the consoles, but there's no way it will look/perform better than the max settings on PC.

Anyhow, these requirements actually seem quite reasonable, compared to some of the ridiculous releases PC gaming has seen lately.

I feel kind of bad that my half-year old PC only barely meets the recommended specs. And it wasn't a low-end PC even at the time, it was relatively high-end.

JeffGh057: It's funny that people forget that The Witcher 2 also required a stronger PC to run it smoothly....And, since The Witcher 3 is bigger than the first 2 games TOGHETER, i'm not that shocked about this requirements.... lol

Also, please, don't compare CDPR with Ubisoft, please, CDPR didn't annualized The Witcher, it'll not release 2 (Or evne 3) Witcher games this year, and the only other game they are working on is Cyberpunk 2077....they still have some credits to burn. And if they think that a strong PC is required to fully enjoy The Witcher 3, it's fine....It's not like Ubisoft that is only thinking about money and profit, making deals with only one brand of gpu/cpu while neglecting other.... Please, don't start a drama
drama? WTF? ... Yet are only visible system requirements that have nothing to do with the word - optimization ... if you did not even bother to see that what I wrote - and then talk and argue it makes no sense))) (P.S. sorry for my bad english)

Huh... My processor is the exact one listed in the minimum specs.

DirectX 11 as a requirement is a horrible choice though- that means XP users can't play at all.

I know you guys are the best even though you won't admit it, but why on earth bias this massively mastercrafted masterpiece to nvidia? 770/ 290X??????!!!!!!!! Please please please say you're gonna add in Mantle support and AMD supported AA. Just please. Nvidia just screwing around making games unplayable for everyone like with AC:U.

EDIT: how will this run on consoles? 480p 24fps?

I actually have a Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz processor and a AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870...

So, I meet the minimum system requirements exactly :D.

How can the minimum be a i5 2500k or a Phenom ii 940? those 2 chips aren't even comparable in power.
