Painted_Doll: Looks like i'm the only one in here who would like to see a normal sale not this kind of " who is fast enough to click on the buy now button " ..... .

Some of us has a job and a real life . For example i don't use any computer or have internet access during my work .

Boycotting this ........ .

Great. Lost out on quite a few games I actually would've purchased and it is already over. /eyeroll
Haha that was a laugh, I was waiting to see the next deal before I went out for groceries and suddenly BOOM. No more banner.
And now sleeps:)
Well, that was a weird Insomnia ride.

The next time i would prefer less rounds and more copies each round again. Or atleast new games every new day to keep it exciting for longer than 2 additional days. The way the freebees got handled was okay though.

I liked the previous Insomnias more overall.
this one was more about the indies and sequels than the classics
I spent so much time waiting and checking and I never once saw the Dungeons & Dragons Enhanced bundle show up. The last time it showed up I checked about two minutes after it sold out. Really, really disappointed here.

What you didn't go and hit the buy button the minute it came up?

I double checked as I was sure I owned it. Of course I do, I kickstarter backed it for the Royal Edition goodies + Kickstarter extras though as it is a special case it always confuses me when I see myself not owning any of the editions on GOG at a quick glance. Have to catch myself each time.

Unlike previous years I have a smart phone now so that actually made buying much easier, much of the unowned games happened to come up the first day during my commute from home to work (public transport, not risking driving a car and doing that kind of buying). Though I did lose my usual commute sleep and I got my usual 3 hours a night lack of sleep so I guess I suffered a little :)

yeah if you have job that you're not near a computer then you miss out.
Would be great to see a normal sale. I miss the big Christmas sales GOG used to have.
So, here is the date/time, when the sale finally ended:

I'd prefer no rounds.
Just list the games on sale and the number available at the discounted price
I never thought I'd say that, but I'm happy this sale is now over and we're back to the usual routine! This particular was the one I least liked of all the sales I encountered on Gog so far (even the previous insomnia sales were better) so I didn't buy anything from the insomnia... but, funnily enough I might buy something from the regular weekend sale. Weird how things work sometimes...

Same. I didn't buy anything either. There were a few titles I really wanted to buy but I couldn't be bothered to check the homepage every 2 minutes. In the previous insomnia there was the critical hit incentive which made waiting around "worthwhile". WIth this new model the time window for getting the title you wanted was shorter and they removed the incentive of staying on top of the homepage. Yeah, smart one, GOG.
