ydobemos: It's not an hour shorter. It's exactly the same length is it would be if the clocks weren't changed.
If you cared to read my entire incredibly long post you might possibly figure out that I meant it gets dark at an earlier hour. Which effectively means that for me the day is an hour shorter.
