I remember going into a charity shop in lewisham a long time ago, and they had a ton of his discworld books for 10p each, I bought the lot.

I enjoyed many of his books, and I'm saddened that there would be no more of them. I'm happy that he got his release though.

I am very surprised by this news. I knew about his illness, but I never imagined it would claim his life so soon. I was sure there are quite a few books left in him, so to speak. Very sad news. I guess it's time to read the Discworld again from the start, as it is over an closed now.
