You're preaching to the choir.
See? I'm trying to keep it religious!
:D

JDelekto: Well, I guess that explains the meaning behind the Charlie Brown cartoons where "commercialism" seems to ruin everything. To be honest, I wouldn't even consider myself a Christian only because I've not done anything religiously in quite some time other than shower, shave, get dressed and go to work.

However, there are still the things my parents did for me when I was a child which helped ease the pain of "growing up" and allowed me to enjoy those younger years. After graduating from college though, I was another piece of meat for the grinder. :)

zeogold: Yup, I believe that Schulz was a Christian and he was rather appalled at how the meaning of Christmas had been lost to commercialism and sort of used Linus as his mouthpiece. I always find it kind of interesting how he was concerned about this back in the 60s and wonder what he'd think of things today.

Well, commercialism or no, it's always nice to be able to enjoy these things. Personal meaning and happy memories can still be gotten out of them regardless.

sunshinecorp: Amen to that.

That's why I just buy the ingredients and make the pizza myself.
The result costs less than half, is twice as big, tastes better and I know what's in it.

Good point. This is a pretty delicious option. I try to make it about once a week or so if I can.

I dunno, he occasionally has those streaks where he screws up. For example, sometimes he thinks he's not awesome.

It's all part of his plan and who are you to question it?

Huh? The Muzzlepaster? Speak up, sonny!
Eating mämmi. It's delicious (albeit an acquired taste, quite a strong taste), and definitely better than it looks (see the picture).

Yesterday we ate outside though in a restaurant at a nearby mall. I ate a pepper steak, she ate salmon.

We didn't visit my parents as they are DED!!! D-E-D DED! Which basically makes me an orphan I guess.

We've come to the In-Laws cabin in northern Saskatchewan. There's still three feet of snow here. I chopped a hole in the ice, and we filled the hot tub. It's been beautiful weather so far. A bit of snow, and a bit of warm.

This. Delicious bunny is delicious. Prepared a giant feast today. Tomorrow, the whole family is gathering to judge my cooking skills. I haven't let them down the last 4 years, and don't plan on it now. It will be glorious.

+moderate cooking skills with the newlywed's cooking apron. (kudo's if you know which anime that's from)
