But yeah, I haven't ever tried it myself so I don't know for certain. I suppose that it's not outside the realm of possibility that they differ somewhat depending on their country of origin due to diet or whatever. Most here are completely wild and live in the bush, and are pretty much everywhere.
Well here it's the kind of thing fancy restaurants serve instead of chicken (because that's too plain and boring for fancy restaurants), plus I believe it's basically a wild chicken and the ancestor of domesticated chickens; hence posh chicken. I imagine most of the ones you get here are actually farmed (or at least managed) so would probably be more tender and juicy than the purely wild variety.
Edit: And it's well worth trying as it's delicious, like a slightly more flavourful chicken. Not quite gamey (though I love game), but more to it than chicken or turkey.
