Thanks for not giving up Wesley.

If so I'm buying the game day one.

Me too. I'm even considering pre-ordering it too for the first time since the canceled Descent 4.

Not trying to be too crass here or sound like a spaced-out fanboy, but don't think any other demo has given me that kind of cerebral orgasm...

Why couldn't you share it all at once, what's the point? Unless of course you're going to announce the release date in addtion to GOG placement.

Not going to officially announce anything until a store page is up.
Sounds promising. :)

Guess one has to hit GOG over the head a bunch of times before anything sinks in. *le sigh*

cose_vecchie: But is that the actual, ordinary "soon" or GOG's variety of "soon"?
In the year 2255 soon. ;)

When the store page goes up, please ask the GOG staff to mark the Selaco wishlist entry as "in-progress" :)
It does look nice. And it is fun seeing anew game targeting the GZDoom engine. So many things the original Doom did not have!
I feel sorry for the dev who had to struggle through GOG's godawful submission process, but I'm also happy that the game finally made it! Going to pick it up on day 1!

My deepest thanks to Wesley_de_Waart who chose to keep trying despite the terrible treatment!

Does it run on stock GZDoom or does it have some proprietary extensions to the engine?

I'm asking because gamers on Linux and especially BSD & other less popular platforms are going to be interested if it can run purely on the open source open source engine that has already been ported to many systems..

It's confirmed it needs their own heavily modified version of the engine, but will support Linux at least.

Disappointing :/ I really hope they open source the engine.
