I'm not quite sure why, but those two sentences made me laugh. Not in a bad, mocking way, mind you. It's just something about the phrasing, it sounds like it belongs in one of those Monty Python complaint letters.

P.S. I have never kissed the editor of the Radio Times.

Lin545: I think GOG should release these games, but require some basic checks so the website still stays safe for lower age auditory.
Mmm, yes. You have to be concerned about kids seeing breasts. Tell me again, what is the purpose of mammary glands? They are to damage brain development I think?

Everybody that thinks games featuring sex need to be removed to keep things age appropriate, should probably take a look at games like Shadow Warrior and Outlast if they're in need of their daily righteous indignation.
It's been a long battle, but finally HuniePop found its way to GOG!

(I never thought this would happen, seeing how GOG firmly rejected this game in the first place...)

The guy who made this is truly vile. Can't say I'm thrilled he's found a new outlet to get paid.

Edit: I should say that I'm not calling for GOG to delist the game. Just wish that Ryan Koons (who is an MRA) had less chances to make money on his ideological games.

Lol! Well, I don't smoke in real life, if that's any consolation.

Anyway, the sex part isn't what I meant--just the creator himself. He's said some very disturbing stuff on Twitter and other places.

Fair enough. :D

I might still get it, but if the guy is a 1st class fuck wad I don't have a problem with your gripe.
Well, I knew after System Shock GOG would have to keep on that trend of releasing high-quality, highly desired classics.
(in all seriousness, I've heard this game is enjoyably trashy and a decent puzzle thing from people who like this sort of stuff)

No. They want it for the quick paced action and engaging story.

Actually yes. :D Wishlisted!

Looking forward to trying the game. I just saw that review too!

'With this game, you can hide from yourself (but nobody else) and continue to deny that you are scum who deserves pain, suffering and death. You are garbage that needs to be picked up and thrown away.'

Woah.

He's clearly not someone who knows what he's talking about and he's just super hateful and biased towards anyone who enjoys games like this, and probably long before it even showed up here. He's never played the game because he refers to everything in it wrong, especially the age of the girls, and most (all?) girls in this are in their 20's. Their either in college or have real world jobs, or are adult mothers, and even the youngest wouldn't be under 18.

This game is not about rape or anything illegal. All the girls consent (if you even get them to consent depending on how good you are or bad), and half the game is a puzzle screen much like Candy Crush. Nothing is really shady, just really dirty.

It's a great game for what it is and it has a great, albeit dirty sense of humor. I'm completely fine with it and I hope GOG get's more of a variety of more adult-oriented games like this, though anyone with a good sense of humor (because dirty is the best for many reasons), and a good sense of what their getting themselves into will appreciate what it has to offer.

The biggest irony is that this release hammers home GOG's mysterious "taste" regarding visual novels. They reject lot, but allow in a choice few. I was looking for yuri games to play as a fan, and came across Huniepop back then. The design and gameplay looks attractive and colorful, but the moment I saw caps of the dialogue, I had to turn this down. Too not for me written! Sakura Fantasy's penmanship was a lot better, so my eyes were fixed on that one for my yuri game hunt. (If GOG has Sakura Fantasy up here for sale, I'd buy it here [Am only interested in Sakura Fantasy from this developer though])

Which brings to mind, that GOG should start allowing in more visual novels for the demographics at large. For Yuri fans, general fans and everyone!

While I'm not a fan of internet (or 4chan in this case) slang, this "review" is epitome of what is usually referred as edginess.

dick1982: is there really a market for porngroove, 5.99 an album???
I would say yes to those who like the art style and like the have raw stills of all the scenes in the game. Me I love backgrounds and characters so getting that was amazing and having the happy ending scenes eh whatever bonus I guess lol >:)
Very nice surprise release from GOG!
