Search the thread, someone mentioned all you have to do is create an empty file with a certain name and extension. It apparently works like an on/off switch.

Makes me wonder for what political reasons exactly they did not just incorporate that as a switch in the actual game.
I would have labeled it: Hey dude, have a problem with sexual organs? You can disable them here.

The GOG version can be uncensored super easiy. It's not any different from other versions. Just download a file and put it in the directory of the game folder. That's it.

bad_fur_day1: I can think of a few reasons it might be a bad idea to have naked girls bouncing around here, keeping Gog somewhat family safe-ish for kids and mums and stuff running right into that accidentally. Seems like somewhat of a bad business decision to have adult X rated content floating around.

Violent videogames are somewhat obvious to stay away from, a bit of blood in screenshots doesn't immediately offend.

There are multiple games on gog that go well beyond 'artistic' nudity anyway. And considering the number of games featuring dismemberment, gore, and mutilations the "save the children" mindset is idiotic.

Of all the reasons to argue against this game you chose literally the dumbest possible reason.
these are bloody, you are right about that.
i watched the hunie videos on youtube and its a simple match 3 (i do like match 3 i have puzzle quest 1 and 2 as digidownload and some others on a retail collection cd/dvd.
as for the x part i tried to view the part 10 video which was flagged by stupid youtube (google) as possible age restricted, so i had to login, i did and guess what? i got a screen with loads of tv icons saying: something has gone wrong. (stupid google and stupid youtube).
Since they changed the site and all stuff completley nothing seems to work like it did when they where kinda new to the internet, youtube and google messedup big since then.
Its a shame there isnt anything like google or youtbe but without the flaws/bugs so we are forced to use youtube and google cause thats the easies and fastest way to find inof and view a shipload of videos cause everyone is using tube the most compared to that vimeo and other stuff.

You don't need to sign in to view age restricted vids. Just change this part: /watch?v= of the url to /v/ unless there is a licensing issue it will work.

Seriously.
They definitely had to "censor" the default version they were going to sell on Steam, Humble and so forth. Those do not permit explicit sexual content on their services. I suppose that's why the default censor option is always on.

In my opinion, GOG should ship HuniePop with the uncensor configuration set right away, though. After all, they're also selling AO-rated content like Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude, which Steam for example does not.

There are 2 versions of HuniePop. The version sold on GOG and Steam is censored.

The version sold on the developer's site (via Humble Widget) and MangaGamer is uncensored and doesn't need to be patched.

So if GOG and the developer wanted they could offer the uncensored version here.

Last I checked Google required mobile bullshit to make accounts, so I had to search for alternative means to access their stuff... Really wish they did an age-gate like other sites. Really sucks that they try and force people to sign in sometimes just because someone flagged a video for saying the word "fuck".
