mintee: Bejeebus, all this angst over whether its censored or not while the incredibly creepy bits are ignored, how the most of the toons look like they are 12 yr old. Popping big fake breasts on a toon dont make her look older, but go on with your sick perv fantasies of sexualizing children. Its become the norm in this porn generation. If the toons were made to look like females of age then this would be just another mild curiosity game and each to their own, but I object to the kiddie porn frankly. The question is.. why arent you?
You know, one could look at it from the perspective that it's a bunch of insecure 18+ year old girls who are so afraid of getting older that they've undergone face lifts, liposuction, nose-jobs and breast implant surgery. If everyone alive were to live up to their age and build, then such a market wouldn't exist for these things for the purpose of vanity.

That being said, why are females undergoing surgery to alter their age and appearance? Is it because they want to see their own narcissistic face in the mirror? ...*or* attract others' who are apparently discriminating about some aspect of themselves that they have changed (and this includes age).

Just a thought....

MarkoH01: Does not change the fact that GOG seems to have CHOSEN to add a censored version. THAT is my problem - as well as GOG silence regarding this matter.
I don't think GOG would be particularly be set against nudity since their sister company's Witcher had more nudity and even sex scenes. Like I said before it was the devs decision to do that, and I can state 2 reasons for that 1. To help stores avoid controversy and outrage 2. To keep things consistent all throughout, since the game has been like this on Steam since launch I don't think it would be fair to them if they started uncensoring now. I have looked for devs contact info everywhere with no success, ended up adding Ryan on Steam. If he adds me back, I'll ask him directly and if possible to post here directly as to why we have a censored version here, and whether it was devs decision or GOG's provided there's no ND involved.

I couldn't fit all that in 140 chars so twitter is out. :(

Senteria: There is nothing that needs to be patched. Just one file of 0kb that you download and put in the folder.
I know but you still have to download that file from the developer to uncensor GOG's and Steam's version.

Would be great if you could post it here. I have also asked on twitter and steam - waiting for a reply. If devs are saying that it was their decision I will buy it here at once - and apologize to GOG.

This all makes sense, but it's the lack of any official statement that's bugging me. I hope you can get some info out of the dev.

I assume if you were a male, your therapist might ask why you weren't attracted to minnie mouse. :)

Joking aside, it seems that there are people who see others' who enjoy looking at anime of young women have some intent or hidden agenda.

I tend to think beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
nobodies version needs to be patched, there is no such thing as a "patch", last time I will comment on this.
Instead of "Censor on/off" in the in-game menu, it is done in the game's directory via a text file. 100% of all uncensored content (except the CG art DLC) is installed on your PC from the start with the default GOG installer file.

Actually, you can also make your own in like half a minute. No biggie either way.

OK, call it a switch or trigger then. I'm sure anyone who knows how to go spelunking through resources knows what is there when installed. :)

Yes, I think we all understood this now. But still the game is censored without doing this. It would be the same if you have to change a registry setting - somebody decided to let the game normally start censored and I just want to know who that was (Devs/GOG).

I just file it under the 'fantasy' label. I know I can get excited (ahem) about some weird virtual shit, but wouldn't dream of following through on it in real life. Not because it's taboo per se, but more due to it not doing anything for me in the real world. *shrug*

Ooops - of course - maybe I SHOULD go to a therapist after all ;)

MarkoH01: But still the game is censored without doing this.
Yep, that's exactly the point. It doesn't matter how fast or easy it is to uncensor the game. If you just download and install the game without putting that file in the game folder you just get the censored version.

Well, yeah. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have the brains we do if one were not allowed to have any imagination at all.

I for one really like sandbox games, like Gary's Mod, Grand Theft Auto, Saint's Row, etc. I use them for stress relief from time to time; I do some really wacky stuff there which would certainly arouse curiosities. However, after a good wind-down, it all goes away --like water off a duck's back.

I thought people should be judged by their actions in real life, not how they act in a game....
