No achievements? ☹
Shadow of Mordor had them!
Please give us Dark Souls trilogy next.
And CHAOS:HEAD Noah!
Thanks GOG and Warner Brothers.

And boy oh boy what a huge download, especially if you also grab the two free DLC.
Something like 155 Gb all up ... Definitive Edition.
I might need to get another backup drive.
Probably my biggest game download so far.

EDIT
In case anyone is interested.

Downloaded 31 x 4 Gb BIN files so far, using the excellent gogcli.exe, then decided to give my PC and connection a break.

Average speed was probably in the vicinity of 4 megabytes a second.

Downloading
Started - 2022-10-04 12:35:54
Finished - 2022-10-04 21:05:07
Total Time = 8 hours and 29 minutes

MD5 checking
Started - 2022-10-04 21:05:29
Finished - 2022-10-04 23:07:54
Total Time = 2 hours and 2 minutes

I have 7 more 4 Gb BIN files to go, and the smaller files I downloaded last night just before bed.

Ghildrean: The extra discount is for the ones listed as "Build your own bundle" and I can confirm Mortal Kombat Trilogy and F.E.A.R. Platinum work, at least for someone with 10+ games (20% and 95% respectively).
It is not mentioned which specific games receive the extra discount and can't see any "sub-listings", only a specific list of discounted games, all published by WB which, as stated, should receive 5% or 10% extra discounts when certain conditions are met.

I can only perceive it as false advertisement if it does not hold true.

The 5% discount is not added automatically to the titles I listed above, so the 10% discount successfully added, as you say, is a discrimination against customers who own/bought less WB published games.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy should be receiving a -23% discount, while F.E.A.R. Platinum a -98% discount, untrimmed by the extra 3%.

Cheers.

P.S.:
You are right, on closer inspection there is a special "sub-list", that specifically excludes Shadow of War, BAK Definitive Edition and DC SV Deluxe Edition. They just aren't there. You have to scroll through it and spot the differences with the parent listing.
If I have to admit I am blind and slow, there is a case to be made GOG.com is seriously laggging behind on dependable presentation, marketing and UI development.

Actually, Gog made language errors. I finally understood what they were trying to say. They were saying buy or own 5-9 get a 5% discount, own or buy 10 or more get a 10% discount. They wrote it saying up to a 15% stacking discount from those games in the build a bundle section. I do agree though, it is a form of false advertising. It wasn't intentional, but they need to proofread before publishing.

GOG.com: In Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™, nothing will be forgotten.
This isn't true in the GOG release since your orcs recruited in the GOG version of the first game are in fact forgotten in the GOG version of the second game.

The advertising slogan "Nothing will be forgotten" in Shadow of War refers specifically to Shadow of War's ability to transfer orcs over from Shadow of Mordor. Without this feature appearing in some capacity in the GOG release, things are in fact forgotten.

It should have been possible to do this by having the GOG Shadow of War access the save game files of the GOG Shadow of Mordor if present on the same system, without needing any additional online services. Completely offline and DARM-free. Would just take a little modification.

Hmm as an amazon prime member I'd not even been paying attention to the free games there, never imagined that they tied to other stores like gog. Ok I'll hold off a few days, in case it drops before the 9th and buy the expansion pass to make it definitive.

Just as well I read the comments before I almost insta bought. That said the price is good for the definitive edition here either way.

According to the official trailer, the game will be claimable from October 5th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tf8JBz7ZTw

It seems to be for the standard edition.

WinterSnowfall: On a side note, don't you just love ambiguous adjectives that will not age well? :P

The game's default textures are already "High Resolution" for most people these days, which is why the base game is so ridiculously huge in the first place, so the naming could have been better.
Ludicrous High Resolution Pack?

So it does, I watched the trainer and somehow completely missed the splash at the bottom with the date when they mentioned the game.

I concur.
Such mistakes can not be justified, even if there is a language barrier.
It is stated "10% higher discount", that begs the question, higher than which discount? Base or stacked?

Cheers.

tfishell: MK2011 is the next most-voted MK game and apparently that's the one that had Freddy Krueger. If that's the only legal issue holding back a release (assuming GOG could convince WB to re-release of course), my hope is GOG could just deactivate his ability to be used. But I imagine the bigger issue is the technical matters involved with online multiplayer, and WB not wanting to port spend resources porting it to Galaxy and whatnot.
Yes, Freddy is the reason why MK 9 isn't available even on Steam. You can still play it there if you previously had it, but not buy.
