SeduceMePlz: Rumor is that Daisy Ridley is being considered to play Lara Croft in a Tomb Raider film.

This is... insane. Judging by her performance as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, she is a poor actress and lacks the charisma and presence necessary to effectively portray the iconic Tomb Raider. Ridley is also an obvious mismatch in terms of physique: She is waif-thin with tiny breasts.

Never thought I'd say this, but... Lara Croft needs saving! You can help by promoting better choices for the role wherever you see this rumor being discussed online.

My current preference for the role is the talented and lovely Lauren Cohan. She plays sophisticated and sexy with ease: See her role as clever rogue Bella Talbot in the third season of Supernatural. She's also capable of credible toughness: See her role as survivor Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead. Last, but equally important, she looks the part: See the pictures attached to this post.

I'd be there opening day for Tomb Raider starring Lauren Cohan. How about you? Got a better pick?

Niggles: The issue is - who could carry a Lara Croft off? (would fans prefer someone who could physically look like Lara ie -- da boobs or some stick woman who can act?). What actress with boobs could do it? (lets face it.. the marketing material for Lara Croft always had a leading lady who for better or worse has a decent top carriage....) --- no ideas here :/
