Niggles: Is it just me, or it feels we are more like collector's of books and games in this digital age .........
Digital media makes it so much easier to get and since it doesn't take any real space and you can find deals at such low cost, yeah, it's becoming a more commonplace phenomenon.

Niggles: What do you read them on?.
e-Ink Kindle (the keyboard-less one before the PaperWhite)

I know. I have a "collection" in my kindle with the new purchases, as a way to be aware of how much I've bought and a way to try to not buy that much and a spreadsheet with my GOG, Steam, HumbleBundle purchases (where I have to add a sheet for Desura...).
It helps but some deals are hard to resist.

Im trying to get into ebooks (sans kindle) but its a bit of a struggle to find a decent option (with appropiate battery life)

Yeah, I have not kept current on the market but it seems most offers are going the way of tablets or table-like options, while e-ink has a longer battery life and is also is much, much kinder to the eyes. My device is less versatile but I like it that way as when I sit to read I don't have other temptations.

I like to read books in english (a lot of SciFi among others) and the difference in prices between buying ebooks and ordering books has made the Kindle proposition a good one from the economic point of view. It has already paid for itself. And Amazon DRM or future hardware failures don't worry me too much for reasons of heavy calibre.

There is now also Skybound's The Walking Dead Bundle.
Picked up the Walking Dead bundle $15... it's a shame some of these are already repeats from the Image humble (which I passed on then) but not a bad price. Curious they are running two concurrent book bundles but with San Diego Comic Con next week it makes sense.

Argh, stupid copy-paste. Fixed now.
Unexpected bundle. I passed on The Walking dead tier in the last Image Bundle and the only comic I'd care about from this group is Thief of Thieves.

I think I'll pass.

I sort of thought the same; but then decided $8 to charity and a book I wanted for less than cover, so why not?

Yeah, I can see that point. This is an offer that beats comixology sales and even the DRM-Free Image digital store by a mile.

I also want to send the message to HB to keep this offerings and maybe they could bring more Image and other publishers like IDW, Boom and perhaps even Dark Horse.
