ET3D: It's hopeless, there's no way to download the files.
I managed to download Hell's Rebels (had most of the rest already as physical copies). You might have to wait a few hours between watermarking and downloading.

At least the page loads, unlike yesterday. The Paizo servers have been humbled.

servers are under heavy load.
Request a file and leave it.
You will get a notification via mail once file is download ready.
Also I think larger the file, more time will it take as they watermark EACH AND EVERY PAGE!!!
I requested for download of free PDF got mail after an hour.

ET3D: Yeah, $55 shipping is off-putting. Which is a good thing or I would have been tempted to buy that box even though I'd never use it.
The amount of shipping was kind of surprising for me also. If I would have known ahead of time that the shipping from the Seattle area to Southern California was going to $13 I would have not bought the physical box tier. I'm very surprised that Paizo seemingly didn't attempt to negotiate for a bulk rate shipping with the US Postal Service.

yes mp3 only
i just bought the whole bundle

for those interested these are the 1979 american radio plays

not the audio books by rob inglis
nor the 1981 bbc radio plays and certainly not the 1955 radio play which is lost
A bit sneaky how they spread the Lord of the Rings over all three tiers. I only got tier one, though, because....
(don't have a picture of the first part)

Yeah, I just looked at the bundle, and my first thought was "210 minutes (3½ hours) for each of the three LoTR books? That's not possible".

Calling this an audiobook bundle is just wrong on so many levels.

Any commentary on the quality of the voice work vs. the BBC radio play or the audio books?

not exactly lost... just not officially available.

as to the ABs on offer - horrible versions. not buying!

not yet

i dont really like rob inglis voice work for the audiobooks it seems to be missing something
but thats me
after a while he grows on you but i still dont care much for his narration of the hobbit

the bbc radio play is aces ( off course ) and peter woodthorpe gives a great performance as gollum

The few reviews of The Hobbit that I read on Amazon are favourable, so I figure it's worth spending $1 on. Won't get the full bundle.

the 1979 american radio play is the only complete version of the hobbit
the bbc radio play is from 1968 and its partially missing
they re edited it together 60 and 90 min compilations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hobbit_%28radio_series%29

edit :

the hobbit is a mess !!

they are labeled

01 hobbit 01
02 hobbit 02
03 hobbit 04
04 hobbit 05

hobbit 02 is episode 1

hobbit 01 is episode 2

there is no 3

this thing is a bloody mess very sloppy

So I'm guessing then that the voice work with this HB version falls short of that? In that case I won't bother. (On a related note, is there anywhere I could buy the BBC version?)
