BoxOfSnoo: I even looked on Dark Horse's site to see if I could buy a digital version of some of these volumes, but I couldn't find it - single issues only...
avatar
madth3: I'm not sure these volumes are different than a collection of single issues.

For example, here is the bundle for SW:Empire that would follow the Vol. 1 in the HB (although is a different arc/story). It should be cheaper than getting the issues by themselves
Ah good, that's kinda what I was looking for... the digital version of the TPB.

Still hoping for more in the comics to come in the bundle.

im pretty sure that will happen
they always add more later on

and no doubt there will be a few V2's

for me that classic omnibus with 25 issues ( almost a quarter of the complete marvel output ) is already worth it

...ill be skipping bucky err jax though

undeadcow: Disney seems to be snatching back commercial licenses for the Marvel properties and now that they've acquired Star Wars it's uncertain, to me, what future Star Wars has with Dark Horse - maybe someone else knows more.
Dark Horse will lose the license at the end of this year. Marvel has announced [url=http://comicsbeat.com/nycc14-marvels-cup-o-joe-panel-reveals-a-black-vortex-peggy-carter-and-star-wars-galore/]comics and reprints of old comics for 2015.

Edit: Added some links.

yeah i heard about that a whiel back

makese sense now that disney owns marvel

and its somewhat ironic that marvel gets the comic back they orginally published for a decade ( the marvel reprints that is )
Added to the BTA tier:

- SW: Knight Errant Volume 1- Aflame (5 issues, complete mini-series)

- SW: Dawn of the Jedi Volume 1 - Force Storm (5 issues)

No more "added soon" section on the bundle, so I'm guessing that's it. Nice that they have one more omnibus but I wish there were more "vol 2" in the BTA (or even top tier).
Pity they didn't add the Rogue Squadron omnibus - one of the few truly worthwhile collections. The first four volumes would have been fine, the rest get rubbish pretty fast.

Otherwise, an interesting assortment. While I'm mildly curious about Knight Errant and Dawn of the Jedi, it's certainly not enough to entice me. The A Long Time Ago omnibus also looks interesting, in that it seems to follow various pre-production scripts and outtakes for A New Hope.
Just a quick bump to this thread for all of the Star Wars fans that have no doubt increased exponentially on the boards here in the past couple days.

This Star Wars comic bundle will end in a couple hours...

The Last Zombie: Zomibus is a massive 664 page collection.

Houses of the Holy is 28 pages ending with a notice that it continues in Madefire app or on Deviant art.

Pinocchio Vampire Hunter is the 537 pages complete edition.
My personal notes:

- Song of Kali and The Mocking Dead are repeats of other bundles.
- Shadowman Vol. 4 follows the volumes contained in the Valiant bundle
- Locke & Key is a great comic but this is only the first of 6 volumes

I got the lowest tier at the moment while I consider the upper tiers
