Can you make GOG more complex?!
I kid. It's pretty perfect so far. :)
Just thought of one: game DEMOs for every game
I don't have Mastcard, and I can't pay with my VISA Debit because VISA uses that Verify with VISA nonsense that I've NEVER been able to make work. Please add Paypal as an alternative.
BTW I don't mind paying a few cents more to cover Paypal's fees.

Just my small list of features request:
PayPal
Download manager (so we can resume our interrupted downloads, for all that a care it could just be a GUI for wget)
Being able to download the games from ftp, so we can use any download manager that supports login and password.
Links to reviews (Metacritic, Game Rankings or even www.gametrailers.com)
Links to mods and third party patches
Demos
Gifts
Letting users create a wish list and his friends can buy games at a discount (~15%) in the week before his birthday!

Keph: As for my wish, I'd very much appreciate a coverflow-like view of the games I purchased. Since they're not physically on my shelf, I'd like some other way of showcasing them ;)

Stay tuned on that topic, there's already a feature in development that you're definitely gonna fall in love with. =)
Aye, a download manager, or at least support for existing download managers - right at the top of my list. In fact, it is my list. I can't think of anything else.
I know you want to avoid forcing apps on people, and good on you for that; we're all thankful. But the ability to resume downloads is an absolute necessity. There are a lot of unreliable internet connections in this world.

demos,
gog is better if gog can also be a place where users can download demos of the games before purchase... of course i mean games that has a demo already on somewhere...
i'd like a "last reply by" column in the forums topic view, it makes it easier to see if there have been more posts since you replied than a number =D
I looked all of the games available and most of them have an soundtrack available and some of them say it's in MP3 and other only "In-game soundtrack" (whatever that means). What my target is that we would have a high quality option for MP3, be it FLAC or WAV. Sorry being a hi-fi enthusiast, but most of these games had a cd made with "higher-than-ingame" quality. And the original soundtrack material shouldn't be that hard to ask from the original publisher. But some of these games may have very low quality in-game music but in the other hand the publisher could have some original music pieces not downgraded to suit the times platforms and size requirements. And we could have even some "rare" sound/music material given to the users of GOG.com.
And I give my vote to torrent-distribution system.
Forum Request:
I'd like to be able to look at the forum page, any forum main page, and see who the last poster is. It's good that I can see who created the forum, but if I'm keeping up with a topic I'd like to see who posted their last.
Just a suggestion.
#1 - Paypal
#2 - Links to Reviews (pref Metacritic)
#3 - Demos
Other than those requests, I'd say this site is perfect.
It would be nice if you also distributed mods, to the games.
high rated
My list:
- Wishlist feature for my future purchases.
- Windowed mode for all games
- Gifting to other members
- CD / Jewel case art so we have something pretty for our
game shelves.
- Some sort of polling system for members to suggest
future games. More efficient than the massive forum
thread.
- D/L manager only if OPTIONAL.
- Video info on games (resolutions, windowed mode or not,
uses DOSBox, etc.)
A great service, guys. Thanks.

Vandal: I'll add some more stuff (yes I could just send this to the team... but... well... that wouldn't be very fun):
- Users Online list -- somewhere to see who's online
- instant messaging between users
- In-depth user profiles
Yeah, I know some of it's coming... but again, I like being a pain in the butt, so I'm pointing out the flaws anyway!!!! :)

Yes, I would love to see a better user profile, with my favourite games, hours played, and all those things that make you feel you are part of a community :)
It's hard to have input on how to make this site better. Really it's ahead of the game already. the site appeals to the Good-old-Gamers who are satisfied as long as we can play the Good-ol-Games. The other features such as mp3s and walkthroughs are really an added value that are fine in the curent format. When you get into wave files and other formats they are specifics that have no overall effect on the game (which is the focus of this luxery site). So just keep the games coming.
