If you're Town and really paying attention you know the critical difference. Even if I get snuffed out tonight (not that it will happen, because even the crazy ones of you must truly love me dearly) you can't kill every Townie who saw the pattern and can correctly exploit it.

Care to explain how being a vigilante "indicates there might be 1) a LOT more scum than anticipated or 2) maybe only one scum and a few easy to hide anti town roles" ? This wasn't my first thought, when I got the role.

There ARE roles that hint to the presence of additional anti-town roles. For example an FBI-Agent would mean that there is surely an SK in the game. But bein a vigilante doesn't fit to your half-claim, I think. Bad move on your part, sorry. You should have claimed FBI-Agent or some other specific counter role.

I really don't think this is the case. In fact, I'm getting worried that the only reason you'd bring this up now is to distract from Lifthrasil (or myself) false claiming.

My first thought was that okay, there might be a TON of scum, and I'm meant to start firing early and often OR that maybe there's really only one proper scum and a few "masked" anti town roles that were going to be hard to find and my Vigilante would counter that because it would be hard to search them out via traditional lynch and / or investigative roles.
