RWarehall: May I suggest we follow Bookwyrm's lead on a lynch since he is the so-to-be confirmed town?
Bookwyrm627: Did anyone else just experience a pretty bad flashback?
All things considered, I don't think it wise for me to try and direct all the power roles.
One thing I would like to hear from each person: if you were the deprogrammer (and I hadn't claimed DP), who would you investigate? If everyone weighs in, then every cultist and CL will have to pick someone too. So, please weigh in, everyone.
I'm certainly not suggesting you direct the Tracker as knowing who the Tracker's target is in advance means the Cult Leader can lay low and not recruit that night. But I do strongly suggest we follow your lead if that is what it takes to avoid a no-lynch. Given our difficulties on reaching a majority in most games anymore, I think throwing the ball into the hands of the most confirmed townie makes a lot of sense.
As to investigation, I'd investigate JMich as Dessimu and Drealmer will likely get themselves lynched shortly anyway. No one is showing any additional support for his lynch, but his poor advice has been so anti-Town one has to consider this might be intentional.
He's still pushing to lynch the 2nd worst possible target tomorrow, your target. Only lynching you would be a worse plan.
So, lynching your N1 target gives just 1 chance to kill the just defanged Cult Leader.
Targeting anyone else gives 1 chance to kill off a fully empowered Cult Leader and 0 to 2 chances to kill off an ordinary cultist (0 if we start without any ordinary cultists and Bookwyrm bounces the Cult leader.
Both have equal chances of targeting our power roles. It's not even close which decision is better. It's obviously better to have a chance at the home run of eliminating a full powered CL especially when you get the additional chance of hitting recruits.
JMich is normally a better player than this. I almost have to believe this was a failed gambit of some sort.
